AHHH…a bea-u-tiful Sunday. It’s gonna be a warm one again but that’s ok. I have plenty of inside work to do. I am trying to get to the point where I don’t do much on Sundays. I would prefer to rest on that day. I have so much to catch up on as all the things I normally do in the fall outside I never did and now I have a home that is so disheveled. I’m trying to get it put back together. I had been trying to declutter most of the rooms, but have mostly accomplished pulling out a lot of stuff and not getting it done. I also have not gotten my tax stuff together for the accountant. I am working towards being able to do them myself but have some business stuff that he really needs to do. He is wonderful! Ok, so today I work on taxes.
Tomorrow’s to-do list:
Read Bible
Water outside
Get breakfast/lunch fixed when Mom is able to eat
Start laundry-get all towels/rags done
Spend at least one hour outside working in yard
Clean half bath, laundry room, hall, kitchen and breakfast room
Clean Mom’s bathroom
Get dinner made-have no idea at the moment what that will be. Some days Mom just can’t eat certain things so I try to have numerous meals handy to fix.
I’m working on how to get my days going better. I’ve read FlyLady at length and like a lot of her ways. I also like a lady named Candy who has a home keeping book system. I bought the Homekeeping Journal from Marmee Dear. It’s great! It has plenty of room to write everything in detail. I just wish I would utilize it every day instead of only when I write everything up and then a slight glance from time to time. That is my biggest goal of this year. To get my house in order and get myself into some sort of routine. It’s really hard as with my mom and having to sometimes go out of town unexpectedly for my dad, I never know what I’m doing no matter how many plans I make. Or my mom will ask me to do certain things around the house for her out of the blue. It’s difficult at times dealing with that. God bless her!
Ok, if I don’t get up I’m not gonna get anything done. May God bless you today in your endeavors!
