Here is my second shirt, finished. I am not sure yet whether or not I actually LIKE it. I haven't tried it on yet, either, which of course will affect my decision.
I originally had plans for this shirt. It was going to be a pretty dark green tone-on-tone print...until I realized on the cutting table that there simply wasn't enough fabric there. :-( That is what you get for fabric shopping from your own stash. ;-) But, not to be dissuaded, I decided to check and see if there was a nice contrasting fabric that I could use to make the sleeves and the ties with. There was! But sadly, again, there wasn't enough fabric there. :-( :-(
So, on to Plan C. Another not-quite-large-enough piece of fabric in a very different shade of green and -- yay!! -- enough contrasting fabric (just barely) for sleeves and ties. Ta-da! Here we have it. Shirt number two, which, even if I
don't like it, I will still undoubtedly be wearing this summer. :-) I am stubborn, you see.

As a side note, in the top photo you can see pink, which for some reason makes me feel as if my underwear is showing, and thus I must explain. I ran out of white bias binding for the elastic casing. I substituted pink. It will not be visible when the shirt is being worn. Just another case of me being stubborn. Oh, and cheap. ;-)
