It reminds me of me lol..
Hope everyone had a blessed holiday... I had 4 days off !! Woot! .. Worked 3 of those on the house.. bleah.. but the bedroom looks nice..the hall way is painted.. :)
Life is getting settled day by day... Mom's death in Feb.. friend of mine murder 3 weeks ago..and quite few other "endings" I'm being to believe that Spirit is moving things out of the way to make room for growth.. Not that Mom and Mikes death was a good thing.. but it has made me stop and think about growth.. and we do our most growing when we endure pain and confusion.. we come out on the other side of the pain with brand new eyes..
After alot of thought and soul searching my spiritual life has taken a turn.. its not where I thougth it was going to go.. or I'm at where I though I would be. And I'm ok w/ that..:) For the first time my soul is coming to be content..still learning ..still growing .. but that will not change.. Spirit and I co-create my life and the eyes that I see the world ... as soon as I let things flow.. my life started to fall into place.. Believe or not Buddhism has helped me more than anything..
Also this year so far has been about forgiveness.. its hard for me to forgive,but I am learning..
I've come in contact w/ the Peak Oil group here in town.. WONDERFUL group of folks.. I've found folks that have most of the same interest I have.. In fact a gentleman in the group is doing the whole Urban Homesteading thing here in town.. he has offer for me to come by and pick his brain.. :) woot.. So you will be seeing alot of stuff on Peak Oil and all that comes with it here....
Other than that.. I miss my Mom ALOT.. its true once you lose you Mother you lose your best friend.. But I know she's with my sister and my faimly.. and with her Lord.. that makes it bearable..
So thats a quick update on what's been going on in my world..
I'm now doing two blogs!!! Here and Livejournal .. ifin ya want to take a look I'm under friggawomen there ...
