Farm animals

Hello All;

We were truly blessed yesterday with farm animals. A very very sweet friend who is moving blessed us with two goats, 13 chickens and 2 (yes) roosters. Allison and got them home late yesterday afternoon. I let the chickens out as they had been boxed up , kind of worried about getting them in their pen last night. But, after dinner we walked down there, and they had already started roosting in some old tree branches. So easy, just to pick them up and put them in the pen. Kirk even got the rooster no problem. The goats have settled in well too, they love people, and talked to me this morning when I went down to get the paper. We even got three eggs on the way home yesterday!!

Today will be a day around the homestead. Hanging out laundry, decluttering, cleaning the truck, watering plants, getting some seeds started, organizing the closet, working on menus, and some sewing.

We are still in and wait and see mode with Kirk's job.It seems safe for the time being. The Lord only knows and He is in control. I am truly grateful and appreciative for that. I know His plan is good.

So now  it is just life, enjoying our house and property and the beautiful spring we have been blessed with here in the mountains of California

have a blessed day

Cyndi
