Friends...

Today, turned out to be more than just a lesson planning and finishing up a little laundry day.  I had completed all my chores and was working on some scheduling when my friend Jessica and her little boy, Aaron David, came by for a visit.  Oh, it was so nice.  I thoroughly enjoyed having them over.  She had some Chamomile tea and we just chatted away.  Seth pulled out several of his cars for he and Aaron to play, and I do believe they had as much fun as I had pleasure in talking with Jessica.  It was so nice having someone come and visit--me!  A nice surprise!

After my friends left, I continued on the scheduling when I noticed six girls running up my yard.  All of Seth's little lady friends came for a visit.  They asked if he could come over and swim, so I ended up driving them to my friend Marianne's house, and Jessica was there picking up her girls, so we three had another visit.  Wow!  Two visits in one day!  Yep, I was blessed!  Plus, Seth had fun swimmimg and playing Roman Soldiers with his friends.

I came home and found myself so relaxed that I ended up falling asleep on the couch.  I don't even remember my husband coming home from work!  He gets home about 4:30 p.m. every afternoon, I didn't wake up until 6 p.m!  So, I jumped up and made fried chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese and fresh corn.  No one felt like eating tomatoes, so it was a yellow meal.  Oops!  That was okay, because my guys chowed down--they didn't seem to notice nor care about a colorful meal.  I guess it is just a "me" thing--I like lots of color on a plate.  Variety.  Variety of nutrition comes with colorful foods.  Oh well, a monochromatic meal is okay every once in awhile!

So, my day was a pleasant day indeed.  I do hope yours was too!

                                 God Bless!

It must be a woman thing. LOL Hubby doesn't care either. When he fixes dinner, his meals are usually protein, starch, starch, starch. LOL And little to no color for his meals as well.

God's Blessings,
Amy Jo
