well got thru my evening shift at the hospital, must say I do not like the evening shift, much more prefer the night! 
Am I nuts or what!I actually like the nights since I feel like I have more of my day to do the work I love....make my house a home and bake and cook and sew and all those great things!
Today I need to finish laundry and plan our menu for the week. I am going to try to finish my daughter's skirt too.
I need to sit and plan out the garden for next year as well, living in the suburbs, yard space is not exactly abundant and throw in a couple of active large dogs, well you have limited space for a garden! I am going to do my best to plant as much as I can tho'!
Well time to get back to work!

Posted by HandsNHeartsSaw your comment at our homestead and thought I'd come and say hello ;o) I am certain there wouldn't be a problem stitching up those 21 Rules of This House at all. In fact, I think it's a great idea and I might have to work on drafting one out for a winter stitching project. Do you dot of cross stitch? I used to, but my stitching has been replaced by sewing machine time these days with so many children.
What part of Illinois do you call home? We moved here to Mississippi a year and half ago (April) from northern Illinois ourselves...Rockford/Winnebago area :o) Penny for penny, they think there is gold in the land up that way compared to down here. We had little to nothing of our own there, but we just closed on our 20 acres of timber and mountain here...finally a homestead worthy of its name!
