Enjoying Life

Life is good right now. Summer vacation is here and the kids are having a blast. There is also lots of work to do. The daily chores are somewhat fun. The garden needs tending, the yard needs cleaned, mowed, and watered in weeks when rain is scarce, the hedges need trimmed every couple of weeks and the yard also needs some tlc when the dog digs. But this is all so wonderful for me. I lived in the apartment with my family for 4 years and now we have a yard and a whole house that we are just pleased to have. Now we spend time together keeping everything nice and welcoming. The garden is small but it is growing at a decent rate and keeping me busy in the mornings. Well I just wanted to let you know how we were doing.

The kids are loving the vacation from school and dh is helping when he can as he works during the day and some evenings but his help is deeply appreciated. Well our puppy is now 9 months old and so playful. She is a mix of a mini-schnauzer and a manchester terrier and she is so cute. We don't know what we would do without her now. She is part of our family. Well, I wish all of you a safe summer and I will write again soon. God Bless you all.

Sterling's in a New Home

Our family is comprised of 6. My husband Ron, Myself, Donna, and our 4 children Ashlee, our oldest daughter; Tristin, our oldest son; Nicholas, our youngest son and Belinda, our youngest daughter.

It has been 4 years since we have lived in a home out of the government eye. We lived in housing owned by HUD(housing and urban development). We were so happy to get our family out of there. We had to deal with mold all over the walls, no matter how many times you cleaned it up it would not go away. No one would do anything. The manager and maintenance guys always said there was nothing they could do but give us cleaning stuff. I know for a fact they could have cleaned it up and put a special paint on the walls because they did that to a spot on one of our walls and the mold never returned there. My wedding dress and my hubby's tux are now in desperate need of cleaning and we have to find someone who can clean it off them properly. You never fully appreciate the joy of a mold free home till you live in one. We now live in a home with no mold. Our floors could use some work but they are sturdy and we will only be here for a couple of years till we get the down payment for our very own home. But we are dealing with the floors and enjoying the pleasure of a back yard, having a pet and having happier children.

Since we moved here our children have been so much happier. They are enjoying there new school, new friends, and new neighborhood. Our old neighbors are missed but our new ones are just as nice. We all have pets and talk whenever we see each other. I just hope that this neighborhood is this nice in the summer.

God Bless you all for now.
