Today is the *official* last day of summer. That would be given since tomorrow is the *official* first day of fall. Great how that all works out, huh?
Yesterday, we were delighted with the news that our oldest son (recently diagnosed with iron deficient anemia) is making red blood cells! Woo Hoo! He's on the mend with the other related blood components improving as well and we are greatly relieved. The Lord has protected him.
Also yesterday, while we were trying to get ready to leave for Augusta, we received our first dump truck load of gravel for our driveway............we've only been here nearly three years now, guess it's about time to save the driveway. I know y'all will sleep better tonight ~
Tomorrow will be our "littlest"'s birthday - the big 13. No more babies in our house. Feels kinda strange. He'll always be the littlest no matter what age or how big for his britches he gets.
And finally, the Grandmother is on the road and on her way to the Farm for the weekend to join us in the birthday celebration. She's due to arrive early afternoon. So you know what that means...........let the mad house cleaning commence!
Have a great weekend, Y'all!
