Jacobs Farm Peach Cobbler
You will need a 13x9 glass (Pyrex) baking dish
1 stick of salted butter (melted)
1 Cup of Sugar
1 Cup of Self-rising flour
1 Cup of Milk (preferably whole milk or heavy cream)
1 Large can of sliced (cling) peaches in the juice
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Melt your stick of butter in your baking dish (I place my stick of butter in my baking dish and then in the oven while the oven preheats.....)
Combine melted butter, sugar, flour and milk in the baking dish. Pour entire can of peaches (including all of the juice) over the mixture. You may want to move or "arrange" your peach slices evenly across the dish. Bake until golden brown (about 25 minutes +/-).
BEST! when served warm. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top or your favorited whipped topping.
YUM!
