Tonight I went to our weekly women's bible study. How refreshing it was. We began a new study tonight and it never fails that what we are studying really hits home. After the kiddos were in bed I sat outside a bit enjoying the cool night air. The air always smells so good after a rain.
I wanted to mention some homeschooling books that we are really enjoying. If any are at a loss for science books, without being textbooks, I highly recommend Usborne books. My kids just love these. They explain things on such a level that even my soon to be four year old is remembering what we talk about. Usborne also has a variety of books on just about any subject you want. If you are interested just go to Usbornebookstore.com and you can see these books. They are also priced very good. Also the Holling C Holling books are excellent. These can be used for geography and a bit of history. You can find these at beautifulfeet.com. We have been so blessed this year with such a wonderful curriculum. I believe this will be our best year ever ! !

It is truly amazing on how the Lord sends the right words in to your life when you need them.
Good luck with your school year. Libby and I will be concentrating on reading this year, as this is her first year of "formal" homeschooling. But, I'm writing down all of the wonderful suggestions I find on the blogs at HSB.
God's peace to you.
