My name is Sarah and I am new to blogging. I am a homemaker living with my wonderful husband and our 2 female cats. I am currently studying to be an herbalist through a correspondence course. I have an extensive knowledge of herbs and though it made sense to make a career out of it. We are in the process of moving into my Aunt's home to care for her in her old age. It will be quite a transition for all of us but we all adore each other. I am looking forward to the upcoming holiday season. I love to bake and make gifts for my family and friends. My Aunt has a smaller kitchen than me but I have worked in there before and know I can make do. She has a big yard that she is letting me have free reign in. I love growing food for my family!

It's nice to meet you. I'm sure you will love this blogging site (I do!) My husband & two children are currently living with my parents while our new home is being built. I love herbs also - my favourite is mint, but I like to grow others & use them in our cooking. What kind of gifts do you like to make for Christmas. Anyway I look forward to reading more of your entries...

Good luck with your move and taking care of your aunt too. I've been caring for my aged ailing mother (88) for almost 6 years now. The road is not easy but if you don't have kids (I didn't notice you mention any), that will help.... a LOT!!
