Passionately pursuing to know the heart of my Heavenly Father and to know my own heart in light of Christ sacrificial love for
me.
~ Reflecting on the many blessings that God has given me. Jesus, the Holy Spirit, my beloved husband, my beautiful children, my family
and my dear friends. God's Love and Grace, His Peace and happiness. May you ever be blessed beyond measure when you see what God can do through just one broken
vessel. ~
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your
souls.]
Matthew 11:28
I absolutely love tea time. Pleasant memories of friendships and a hot pot of tea. A beautifully laid table set with the finest china and
silverware. Just like Heavens' table when we go home. All the finest linens and dinnerware. I also love spending time with the Lord, meditating on
His precious words. A time to quietly sit and praise Him and thank Him for all He has done. It is a great time when the harshness of the day still
lingers and our souls are in much need of refreshing, it is during those times that we must learn to turn it all over to the Lord.
Just like with friends, I love tea time with my precious Jesus, the lover of my soul. It is in those times I hear Him whisper softly in my ear
saying,
"Sit back my daughter, sip on my tea (the word), it is sweetened with milk and honey.
Remember, no matter what this day holds my child, I haven't gone anywhere, daddy is holding your hand."

"God in His wisdom created Mothers and gave them love to share.
He showed them how to comfort and told them how to care. He taught
them how to wipe a tear and how to smile just right. Then He gave them to us
to love with all our might."

These ladies have been a huge part of who I am today. Their ministries have change me as a person as well, as
a Christian. I am grateful to my Heavenly Father for raising them up for such a time as this." ~ Thank You, Ladies
for your love, your honor, and your dedication to serve the Lord.

out to be filled with conversation. Even the tea itself--warm and comforting-inspires
a feeling of relaxation and trust that fosters shared confidences."~(Emilie Barnes)
I invite other women into my home. We enjoy tea or coffee together ~ depends on my theme.
We share what God is doing in our own lives. Then venture to the edge of lostness as we pray for women around the world. Especially the women of
the
persecuted church.
I have Muslim Teas Focus, Prayer Tea for the Afghanistan People, Africa Coffee Focus, Asian Tea Afternoon. Hidden Sorrow, Lasting Joy Brunch ~ this
is geared towards the women of the persecuted church. The possiblities are endless.
November 11, 2007 in remembrance of 9-11, I am hosting a Tea and Brunch in my home to kick of the ReignDownUSA Focus for our country, America.
Also,
to focus on Hopkinsville, Ky Community. WE ARE TAKING OUR COMMUNITY BACK!!!.
When I do these teas I make individual guides that will give a woman everything she needs to know how to lead a women's prayer tea/coffee gathering
-- including instructions on how to serve tea, and details on how to lead her guests to pray for women everywhere.
Also, I have brochures for each tea/coffee guest. This brochure will guide the women as they pray during the tea/coffee; afterwards, they will take
it home to serve as a reminder of what they prayed for during the tea/coffee, so they can continue praying on their own. I enjoy this.
I have gotten alot of mission resources from different places and I provide folders with all kinds of prayer guides for different countries and
mission information for each guest. I teach the ladies how to prayerwalk and how to lead others to Christ that believe differently than they do.
Those that have another faith and culture, teaching the ladies how to lead them to the saving knowledge of our Beloved Jesus Christ.
Missions has always been a huge part of my heart. Someday I hope to go to other countries, but until then this is my way of giving back and
helping.
This playlist represent songs that are dear to my heart. Songs to my Savior, My God and the Holy Spirit. Songs to my beloved husband and

Becoming a Woman Who Pleases God in 2008
Ladies, this is a wonderful magazine. I am so happy that I have found it and I know you will love it too!
When a wife and mother fulfills her God-given duty, she acts as a barrier against her family dishonoring and His Word. After all scripture says
the woman is the "homekeeper", who if she loves her children and her husband truly, and is sensible, pure...kind, being subject to [her] own [husband]," will remove
any dishonor or reproach that might fall upon the Word of God. (Titus 2:3-5; 1 Timothy 5:14) While the woman is not the leader in the home, she is the dominant influencer.
We are Expecting Number 8 due Sept. 6, 2008
Welcome to my spot!!! I'm so glad you're here. The purpose for this ministry is to bring honor and glory to my Heavenly Father and to my Savior,
Yahshua. (Jesus)
I get so weary of Christianity that seeks to glorify man and his talents rather than give glory to God and and all He has done, expecially for His
gift of grace?
I truly believe that our music, our speech, our lifestyle, our appearance and our attitude should be an extreme contrast to this worlds way of
doing things. We have got
to be the example that the world has got to see. We must choose daily to die to our old carnal nature and to let the light of Christ be are
clothing.
In order for sinners to see their need of repentance we must be an example of holiness on earth. Sinners will have no need for a Savior if all His
followers are no
different then they already are. We must give them the love of Jesus without taking part in their sinful habits.
I hope that through this blog I am able to share the gift of eternal life to those who want it's healing. I hope to be an example of one believer
who truly loves the Lord with
her whole heart. To teach only what the word of God teaches, and to encourage other women to love Jesus, as well as to love their husbands and
their children everyday with the
love that Jesus gives us to love them with.
"The fact that I am a woman does not make me a different kind of Christian, but the fact that I am a Christian does make me a different kind of
woman. For I have accepted
God's idea of me, and my whole life is an offering back to Him of all that I am and all that He wants me to be." [this was sent to me ~ author

1 cup chopped onion
1 butternut squash - peeled, seeded, and cut into 3/4-inch chunks
1 medium golden delicious apple, cored and cut into 1-inch chunks
1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted

1 (14 ounce) can chicken or vegetable broth

Harvest Squash and Sweet Potato Soup - Recipe
Adapted from Fresh from the Vegetarian Slow-Cooker, by Robin Robertson (Harvard Common Press, 2004).
This orange-golden soup is a great way to begin Thanksgiving dinner. If you make it in a slow-cooker, it also frees up the already-crowded stovetop and keeps the soup at the perfect temperature while everyone gathers at the table.
SIMPLE SOLUTION: Even if you don’t use a slow-cooker, this mouth-watering soup--rich with beta-carotenes and nourishment from tender winter squash and sweet potato and enlivened with a little onion, thyme, and sage--is simple to make and beautifully satisfying.
INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small yellow onion, chopped
1 celery rib, chopped
2 medium-sized sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
1 small butternut squash, peeled, seeded, and thinly sliced
4 cups vegetable stock
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
salt and freshly-ground black pepper
1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and celery and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
2. Transfer the cooked vegetables to a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker. Add sweet potatoes, squash, stock, thyme, and sage; season with salt and pepper, cover, and cook on Low for six hours. Or transfer ingredients to a large soup pot, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cook, covered, for 1 hour.
3. Working in batches, puree the soup in a blender or food processor, or directly in the slow cooker or soup pot using an immersion blender. Taste to adjust the seasonings and serve hot.

"Wise women live by God's timeless, unchanging standard. I want to know what Jesus thinks. I want to do as He commands. I love Him with all of my
heart, mind, body and soul. I want to infuse my home,
my family, and my community with purity, grace, dignity and care. I want people to see Jesus through me. When they touch my hands they touch Jesus.
When they hear me speak, they hear Jesus.
Why? Because it is His spirit that should be living through me."
Lord, I give you all of me ~ My life, my time,
my body, my children, and my home.
Let me introduce myself ...
I am a happily married wife to Minister Spencer Bacon and we have 10 beautiful children. ( 2 boys are his, 4 girls are mine and 2 boys are mine and then we share one girl and one on the way.)
My passion is to know Jesus - to really KNOW Him. To hear His voice on a daily basis and to walk in His presence. To be close to Him and to know His pure heart. This He has promised to all who hunger and thirst after Him........
Can you hear Him calling your name? He so wants to take us up into higher realms with us, into the realms of His presence and glory. Where He has prepared a beautiful banquet table full of the finest foods.
He so wants to delight in us and for us to delight in Him. We are His prized possessions, His priceless treasures. He wants to share places in His heart where He desires for us to bask in the beauty and magnificence of His life.
Won't you come and set beside me? I want to tell you about this wonder man name Jesus. He will give you the desires of your heart. He will never leave you nor forsake you. His arms are always stretched open. Just take His hand and
and let Him lead you into a beautiful life designed just for you.
~ Notable Quotable ~
He who every morning plans the transaction of the day and follows out that plan, carries a thread that will guide him through the maze of
the most busy life. But where no plan is laid, where the disposal of time is surrendered merely to the chance of incidence, chaos will soon reign.
Victor Hugo French dramatist, novelist, & poet (1802 - 1885)
Welcome ~ May this blog be a reflection of my heart. .~~~
"The Best part of Beauty is that which no picture can express...." Sir Francis Bacon
~~~"The face of beauty can take many forms ~ an encouraging word of kindness, a smile that breaks forth like morning light, a tender act of compassionate love. The most winsome of all women seem to have in common some timeless qualities of beauty ~ grace, wisdom, thoughtfulness, kindness, compassion ~ and they carry these with a certain sense of confidence. The truest kind of beauty is cultivated over time, perfected in the heart. And it is a loviliness that lasts long after all else has faded." ~~~ A Heart Where Beauty Lives ~ I so long to fill my life with gems of grace, kindness, and confidence. I pray that the Lord will continue to fashion my heart after His, for it is the place where beauty lives and flourishes.
"And (she) shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of living water, ready to bring forth it's fruits in season; its leaf
also shall not fade or wither; and everything (she) does shall prosper [and come to maturity]." Psalm 1:3
"Her children arise up, and call her blessed;
her husband boast of and praises her, [saying].
Many daughters have done virtuously, nobly, and well [with the strength of character that is steadfast in goodness],
but you excel them all. Charm and grace are deceptive, and beauty is vain [because it is not everlasting], but a woman who reverently and
worshipfully fears the Lord shall be praised!"
Proverbs 31.28-30amp
~ My Scripture Memorizations for the Week ~
3 "Bid the older women similarly to be reverent and devout in their deportment as becomes those engaged in sacred service, not slanderers or slaves to drink. They are to give good counsel and be teachers of what is right and noble,
4 So that they will wisely train the young women to be [a]sane and sober of mind (temperate, disciplined) and to love their husbands and their children,
5 To be self-controlled, chaste, homemakers, good-natured (kindhearted), adapting and subordinating themselves to their husbands, that the word of God may not be exposed to reproach (blasphemed or discredited)."
Titus 2: 3-5 Amplified Version
Starting in June I will be gathering some beautiful ladies in my home every Tuesday for Tea and Bible Study. We will be focusing on "Becoming the Women God wants us to be."
"These are very Special Celebrations with Some very Treasured Friends." Come join me as I post the gatherings here. So, yes you can join and you still have time to purchase the book. Just click on book to order.
"Sarah's Daughters"
This Newsletter is based off of 1 Peter 3:3-6, paying attention to v6.
"3. Let not yours be the [merely] external adorning with [elaborate] [a] interweaving and knotting of the hair, the wearing of jewelry, or changes of clothes;
4. but let it be the inward adorning and beauty of the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible and unfading charm of a gentle and peaceful spirit, which [is not anxious or wrought up, but] is very precious in the sight of God.
5. For it was thus that the pious women of old who hoped in God were [accustomed] to beautify themselves and were submissive to their husbands [adapting themselves to them as themselves secondary and dependent upon them].
6. It was thus that Sarah obeyed Abraham [following his guidance and acknowledging his headship over her by] calling him lord (master, leader, authority). And you are now her true daughters
if you do right and let nothing terrify you [not giving way to hysterical fears or letting anxieties unnerve you]."amplified version
