Started my new schedule today and its working ok except that I'm sleepy. I'm cleaning the house, doing laundry and working on updating my Homemaker's Journal. I also need to work on September's meal planning tonight or tomorrow.
I had a wonderful time with God this morning. I was reading 1 Samuel 1-2 about Hannah. I have read these scriptures before but today a verse just grabbed me and it really came alive! Here it is:
1 Samuel 1:15
"....but have poured out my soul before the LORD."
Now that is real prayer! She poured out her soul to God! This touched me so much that I began to pray and pour my soul out to God also and I had a great prayer! It's amazing how each time you go to read the word of God it seems as though you find something you really didn't "see" before.
