This past february we had Golden Reatever puppies, They have been alot of fun . The night they were born a friend stayed till two in the morning watching them be born.
At the Canadian border, the man asked some questions, then he asked, "where are you going?"
The computer map said it would take us 5 days to get to Whitehorse. But we made it in 2 days because we left at 4:30 or 5:00 each morning and would only stop around 8:30 or 9:00. We averaged 850 miles a day.

At first my ankles were wobbly and it was hard to control them. I couldn’t keep my balance. After a while I could take a step, but it was hard. Some people told me to keep my eyes straight ahead, instead of looking at my feet. It didn’t seem to work at first but after a while it was almost as if where I looked was my balance. If I looked to the side I was soon off the line, but if I kept my eyes fixed at the end of the rope I could usually go farther. I had a fun time on the slack rope in the Yukon and now that I am home I think my dad will put up a slack rope here!
We would get up at 6 am and have our devotional time. Then at 6:30 we showered. Then we had unit sharing. All the campers were divided into units. After that we went up the hill for line call, exercise and marching. (FUN!) After breakfast we would go down and clean our cabin. Some people were in tents, but my unit was in a cabin. We had to clean well for inspection. Sometimes we got blue ribbons! Next was a Bible study class. I learned a lot from it.
In science experiment class we made bottle rockets. We used pain reliever and water. We made flubber, too. It was was weird.
In the evening we had special activity. Sometimes we went swimming. More later…. have to go practice my violin…
Our Trip
Two weekends ago we went to Fountainview academy with our choir. Fountainview is an adventist academy in Canada, B.C. We worked with Craig Cleveland, the orchestra and choir director.
We left Thursday morning and met up with our caravan at the church. It takes about 7 hours to get to Fountainview so we went to the bathroom. Splash!!!!!! splash!!!!!!!!! OH, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some of the downstairs of our church was flooded!!

We carried stuff from the Sabbath school rooms, and some people tried to rescue pianos.
Finally we were on the road, but oh, we had about 40 people so there were more bathroom breaks, and long ones too.

We went past the place where they have Camp Hope. And we also went past Hells Gate, which is named because of the impassable spot in the Fraser River. And then there were tunnels, lots of them. We tried to hold our breath through each one.
There Finally!!!!!!!!
We arrived that evening and got a bite to eat and then started to practice warm-ups.
Later we went to bed.Our family stayed at the house that my mom lived in when her family lived at
Fountainview .
Friday more practice. Then we went down to the Fraser River and jump ropped and got a little wet. In some places where the water had drawn back for a few moments, we would run over there and rock back and forth on unstable sand, sometimes sinking in. It was weird.

On sabbath morning we had our concert.

Then we went to the house boat .
When we got there we had a good supper, then went on a little motor boat and cannoe . Once when I was in the cannoe it tipped when the nose was pulled up on shore too far. A girl and boy fell out, but I stayed in.

When it was dark we got in the hot tub and went off the slide. It was great fun! The water was tingly cold.We only stayed in seconds at a time.I got a head ache though because I didn’t dip my head in the hot tub each time.

On Sunday we started back towards the dock. It was a long ways. But we got to be in the hot tub all the way. Sometimes we would stop so that we could use the slide. This is glacial water. Very COLD. And remember this is CANADA on the 6th of MAY!

We jumped off the roof of the houseboat. Thanks! Clevelands. We had a blast!
