My Juggler and Rubber participated in their ballet recital Saturday, as a final culmination to their year long ballet classes. It was entitled "Alice in Wonderland." It was an amazing show, but it went way too long. Amazingly, Little Bear fell asleep on Grandpa's lap for the first show, but then got a little fidgety during the second. They did two seperate shows, both which lasted around 2 hours each. Rubber was an adorable "Rubber Duckie" dancing to Ernie's famous "Rubber Duckie" song. She said later that she was really nervous which is why she didn't do her moves as well as she could have. Good thing everyone was only looking at her costume!
Juggler was in two dances, "The Caucus Race and the Lobster Quadrille." She was in a half ballet, half tap class. She really enjoyed the tap class and plans on continuing that next year! She has sure come a long way from her first recital where she cried the entire production.
