I know that what I say can be very different from what you have been taught by the world and the world's churches, but we have to look to the Word of GOD and be willing to die to our flesh if we truly want to live for GOD and be a GODly example to our children. Pants on a woman are not modest.Pants show a woman's bottom and they outline the inside of her thigh area.Just because you get them in a woman's section does not mean that is what Yahweh wants you to wear and it does not make them modest.Yes men in Bible times did not wear pants and neither did women, but their clothing was distinct from each other , and the women dressed modestly hiding the outline of their bodies.The bible speaks much about a woman dressing modestly. The Woman of GOD does not dress like the rest of sinful world and it's fashions but dresses to please and obey our Heavenly Father.
Rom 12:2
Tit 2:4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
Tit 2:5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
1Ti 2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
Modest clothing for a GODly woman would be jumpers with a modest blouse underneath, a skirt with a blouse and vest to give extra coverage on top, a dress with a vest or cape on top or with a matching Apron.The fabric should be colors that are not too bright to call attention but are soft and the print should not be too large.
As for the head covering and the hair being the covering,I have posted about this before and also a book that goes in detail about the head covering, but I will answer it again. If you look at the word covering in verse 1 Cor. 11:15 and the word covering in verse 1 Cor. 11:6 in the Strong's concordance, you will see that these two words are different words in the original scriptures.The English writers used the word covering for two very different words.The hair is not the covering, or else why would Paul say to cover your head when you pray.If your hair was your covering, your head would be already covered when you pray, and Paul would not need to tell us to cover when we pray.Paul is teaching many things in these verses.He teaches Headship, that Our Husbands are our head and we are to be under their authority, just as GOD is the head of our Husbands,Paul tells women to cover their heads when they pray and speaks about all the reasons we are to cover as a sign we are under the authority of our Husband and as a sign to the angels.Paul speaks about it being a shame for a man to have long hair, but says that it is a glory to the woman for hair to be long.GOD does not want us to "shorn "our head which means cutting the hair, GOD wants our hair to be long.The meaning of one of the words covering,is our hair being like a mantle wrapped around us.I wrap my hair in a bun usually underneath my covering. The newer versions of the Scriptures will use the word Veil for the one word covering and use covering for the other word, because it is clear these are two different words. In verse 14 it speaks about "Even nature itself teach you" seeing that a woman's long hair is a natural covering but GOD requires a spiritual covering as well .Again we see that Yahweh wants a distinction between man and woman by our hair.

Some preachers can not speak about biblical truth because they will be fired, they have to preach what the people want to hear.The Bible says that even the very elect will be deceived. We must spend time in prayer with GOD and allow the Holy Spirit to Guide us and teach us GOD's truth. I am so thankful we have the Word of GOD and it doesn't change. Even though people are following the ways of the world, we have GOD's word, to teach us how to live for GOD. Everything we need to know is in the Word of GOD.
