• Tuesday, January 22, 2008 - Pizza Night

Last night the boys and I made pizza. It was just basic cheese but we had a fun time doing it. We made a wheat crust put some sauce and cheese on it and threw it in the oven and presto, dinner was done. Here are some photos of us enjoying the night.  My oldest is grinding the wheat for the crust, my youngest is grating the cheese and one of our dogs is whishing for a handout.

God's blessings to you and your home,

Lea

What delicious looking pizza! It looks simply beautiful in your wood stove!! Thank you for answering my question about your stove... that really isn't a lot, I was thinking that it would be about $5000!! $3000 is a much more welcome amount!!

Also, thank you for your kind comments on my blog! I had an interesting experience with Deut 22:5 and decided that I needed to wear dresses all the time. I've been wearing them for about 6 months and love it! I can do all kinds of things in them, they don't hinder me at all (well, most of the time!)!! I climb fences, go on walks, clean out chicken coops, and lots of other things!

Thank you so much for raising your sons the way that you do! It gives me hope to know that there are godly families out there that are raising their children the right way and encouraging them to wait and prepare for a courtship! Now if only one of them lived out by me!

Thank you again, I look forward to getting to know you better!!

Blessings,
Alex

p.s. my mom and I were just wondering... do you have electricity? Also, I noticed that you were grinding flour by hand! Do you like doing that? What brand do you have, or is it an antique? Oh, I think that I am going to like your blog ever so much!!

That is so cool...I love your wood stove....can you bake more than one thing at a time in your oven?

The pizza looks great! Yummy. I too have a wood cook stove. I love it! I cook on it all winter, and we use it for heat also, propane is so expensive now. I look forward to reading more. jodalton

This looks yummy. I would have never thought to put it in a cast iron pan. Are there any special instructions on that?
I make a wonderfull pizza recipee from my link-Laines letters. Nothing like homemade pizza. Its rather easy and quick.
