• Tuesday, January 22, 2008 - Schedules Does anyone have words of wisdom

I am getting ready to adjust our daily schedule here at home.  My husbands shift at work has greatly effected our normal schedule and we are having a hard time adjusting.  He went from first shift to a long second (10-12).  It is the job that the Lord has provided him for now so we are grateful but must adjust.  I was wondering if anyone had any words of wisdom from their schedules that they might like to share.  In a day we have homeschool, chores (twice, soon to be 3 times daily as we will be having goat kids) housework and meal prep.  I get my Bible and prayer time first thing in the morning as I am a morning person but rest of the day seems unsettled lately.

Lord's blessings,

Lea

Here is an example of our day when we don't have to go anywhere and things go as planned, remeber 'life happens'. I suggest you make the most of dad's time at home and start school after he leaves for work at 10am. I use FlyLady so that is where Kelly's Mission comes from. If you check her website www.flylady.net she has examples of daily scheduales and tons of tips.

6:45 Get Up, Pray while making coffee, breakfast and DH lunch, Take vitamins, Sit with DH until he leaves at 7:20

I like your posts so much I wil go and change the link I set up for you! There is a song that I really like that is new called "here I am to worship" don't know who sings it but there is a line that says "I'll never know how much it cost to see my sin apon that cross" and I had never thought of the sacrafice Christ made for that perspective. I understood that there was a presonal connection but did not realize what those words brought to my heart. Now I do see that if I had been the only sinner ever to be born christ would have counted the suffering worthwhile even still...I was younger when that song came out but I am still growing and learning about God and my relationship with him....
