My Grocery Savings This Week!

I've been implementing some of Crystal Paine's Supermaket Savings tips the past few weeks... with coupon savings and buying on sale (which I always did, anyways) I've been saving close to $15 off my grocery bill... which means I've been spending a little over $35 instead of $50 a week... WooHoo!!

Here's my deal of the week:

I had two $1-off coupons for Pompeian olive oil (I printed the coupons off the internet)... our grocery store just happened to have Pompeian olive oil buy-one-get-one-free.  SO, I got two 16 oz bottles (reguarly priced $7.19 each), with the sales promotion and my two coupons, for about $2.60 each!!!  If you use olive oil, then you know that's a GOOD deal!  Two bottles that would have otherwise cost me $14.38 only ended up costing $5.19.  I can't wait to see what I'll save next week!!

UPDATE:

Yesterday we went to the dollar store... I had a $1-off coupon for "Natural" brand oatmeal... since it was only $1 a box, I got it for FREE!!!  Can't beat that!!!
