If you shop often off the web (like I do), here's a great site you should check out- Mr. Rebates! This site has hundreds of online shopping stores for you to select (JcPenney, Best Buy, Overstock, Collects etc, and Designer Linens Outlet are just a few of my personal favorites!); once you are logged in and have clicked on the store you want to shop from, Mr. Rebates tracks your purchases for you. Each of the stores offers a certain percent of your total purchase as a rebate. Once your total rebates have reached $25, you can request a check from Mr. Rebates and they will send a check to you in the mail.
Sign-up is fast and free- check it out!
I wouldn't recommend spending a lot of money online just for the sake of getting a rebate- that kind of defeats the purpose of saving money! But, if you already shop a lot online- or need to order a more expensive item (like an electronic, or memory for you computer, etc) this is a great way to save a little money with a purchase you're already going to make. It's also great if you purchase a lot of gifts online. Personally, I shop clearance and sales all year for Christmas gifts, and since we live in a rural area and don't have much shopping nearby, I "hit the sales" on the internet more often than in department stores.
Have fun!
Next week: finding coupons on the web!!!

Mom2fur of Sorta Frugal here. I haven't seen this rebate site, but it sounds great. I use eBates and I love it. If you combine free shipping deals with rebates, you sure can get some great bargains!
