I have noticed something about myself....I thrive on order. No, I am not a completely orderly person, but I do better when things are in order. I began the new year with a clean home, somewhat organized, on top of laundry, baking and cooking. Somewhere last week I lost it. It seems we got busy and dashed about a bit more than I should have. And then the really interesting part. When my house is uncluttered and I am on top of things it begets order. So, revelation...order begets order. Clutter begets Clutter! I have found it difficult to get back into the rhythm. It's as if I am a car running on only 2 cylinders. I'm getting down the road, but just chugging along instead of cruising. As granny used to say, "that ole dog jus' won't hunt" (meaning that isn't gonna work) This is kind of a new revelation to me. For me I need to set the priority of keeping home first. Once I get back in the grove, it won't seem like a grind. So.. tomorrow is the day. DH works tomorrow night and I am getting back on track! I know that I will feel much better once I am. That is a neat saying! I like it! My granny has so many sayings like that!
It does seem that when our house is in order it is easy to do a day's work and to keep the home in order. I also have more time for my hobbies too!
