While doing some internet research on a honey related topic, I ran across this article.

I would love to read your thoughts and comments on this one.

enslaved bees! LOL!
OK, how about this?
Eat honey, my son, for it is good;
honey from the comb is sweet to your taste.
Proverbs 24:13

or... even better:

Therefore the LORD himself will give you a sign; The virgin shall be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. He will eat curds and honey when he knows enough to reject the wrong and choose the right.
Isaiah 7:14-15

Oh hey, can you tell me how to determine if someone is allergic to bee stings (other than the obvious)? My mother and mother-in-law are both highly allergic...just wondering what the chances that one of my little chickadees are? My dh would love to be a beekeeper, too :) .
Hugs,
Catherine

Here's a honey of a quote for you:

Like the honey to the bee
so are the cookies to the tea.

I saw this in "Gifts in a Bag" and thought of you :) .

this made me laugh! the whole "there are no feral bees anymore" - there never were in this country until the europeans came. vegans scare me. vegetarians I am okay with, kinda admire them in some ways, but vegans are scary.

As Alice Walker said, "The animals of the world exist for their own reasons. They were not made for humans any more than black people were made for white, or women created for men." (I would also add that plants and the earth were not made for humans either.)
WHAT!!!!!
I just have to say that I stopped after I read this.
Umm well umm
Speechless, I'm just speechless.
Blessings,
Debi
