I think it is time that I close this blog. I have received some great recipes and ideas, but I just don't feel like this is the place I belong. I don't homeschool, because I don't feel my children would get a good education, and I believe they need the socialization with peers and the world. You cannot protect them from the world all their life and then send them out into it when they are 18 and expect them to survive. I work outside the home to help stimulate my brain and to meet people. I have tried staying home and after 6 months I am climbing the walls. I love working part time, I am away from my kids 2 days a week, and we have the extra money for our family. I just don't have the same views as most of the bloggers.
God Bless to all, Thank you for all that you have gave me.
I am sure that I have offended some with the statements above. I am sorry, but it make a lot of different people living together to make this world go round, and thanks to GOD we all have freewill.

I know it have been awhile, just have been busy with work and the kids, they have been pretty healthy, few runny noses and strep throat scare. I had the head cold stuff for a few days, but doing much better. Few prayer request, my Uncle that I had talked about earlier passed away Feb. 5 very suddenly. My Aunt could use some prayers, she is lost and scared right now, it is all hitting her now and she is starting to have some bad days.
Our principal at school is having a rough time, with some parents that have went over board and she is needing some strength and guidance, she used to attend church but has lost her way. We have had a principal for 12 years that did not take care of troubled kids and now she is taking care of things. So they are in a shock of a principal actually doing her job.
I also just had an inspiration , I guess is what you would call it. I realized I have a wonderful life, and marriage. We own our home, have 4 healthy kids, wonderful supportive family. My husband is a great help around the house, he does laundry when I am busy and can't get to it, he cooks if I am not home , takes care of the kids, we work together as equals.
Enjoy your life, kids and family, love everyday.
Blessings to all

The smell of baking bread is wafting through the air. I love it. We have been spending a lazy afternoon, doing nothing today. Yesterday, I took all my PAT kids that I see through school to Chuck E Cheese for a afternoon of fun. I didn't get home until late, got the two little ones down for a nap, decorated a cake and table for my daughter's 11 b-day. My mom came and sat with the little ones while I picked up the 7 girls from school for a small party. The last one left at 10:00 last night. We were up early this morning for my dd to open her presents of a new bedspread and a fashion game. We then had to go to a nearby town for my ds's basketball game. We lost. 13-8 . Oh, well. We invited my husband's niece down as a surprise for my dd. They only see each other at church on Sunday, they are 4 months apart in age. She will spend the night and go to church with us in the morning. We then have a half surprise birthday party for my mil at my sil house after church. This has been a busy weekend. I think after my bread comes out, I may run to school and work for a few hours before dinner, which is thawing on the counter. My oldest ds went with my folks after his game, he will be home sometime. Better run. Bread smell getting stronger, it must be almost done. God bless to everyone, hope you are all doing great. I do check occasionally to see what you are doing and look for some great recipes. The crockpot lasagna was fabulous, the garlic bread they loved too, but was very sticky to make.

A new year, can you believe it. I have decided this year is the year I take control of my body and life. I have been doing pretty good at staying on track and getting a routine started. Since before Christmas I have been taking time to do 100 sit ups in the morning and at night and I can tell a big difference. My stomach is starting to get a little firmer and stronger. I have noticed I don't slouch as much sitting in a chair and my back is not hurting as much. I have also been trying to eat breakfast everyday. 2 down just 363 days to go. I have also decided I wont be blogging as often. I am also trying to make my self move more often and to quit sitting on the computer or watching TV. I have gotten tons of great recipes and have really enjoyed seeing how everyone else lives around the world. I do not agree with some of the views but that is what make the world turn, all the different people in the ways. Anyway, I will check in to see what everyone is doing and to check out some new recipes.

My dad had the biggest smile on his face when he opened his chaps Christmas morning. He just got tickled and smiled. He just couldn't believe he got them. He put the vest on but hasn't tried the chaps on yet. He can't wait to go horseback riding with his buddies. If you missed the picture, go back a couple of post and you can see them.

We were very blessed this year to have my uncle for Christmas. Last year a week before Christmas, he was told he had 3 months to a year to live. He is not doing well but he is still with us and in the last 4 months has started attending church. Big Jump for him. Unfortunately he was not up to coming over to my folks house for Christmas Eve. Several of our family ran across the street throughout the night to see him. I wasn't feeling to well and didn't want to give him anything. So I will go see him later. We were also blessed to have my sister and her husband and her two kids home for christmas. This is the first time in about 10 years. We had a great time, on Monday after my sister came in her and our mother and aunt went to Branson for the day, shopping and went to see a Christmas show. Thursday we finished up our Christmas shopping and Friday we had to run everywhere, the kids had Program practice at church and then Homecoming at school. My niece won homecoming queen. Saturday I cleaned my mom's house while she grocery shopped then Sunday we had Church and the program on top of Christmas with my Husbands family. Monday I cooked and then off to my parents for family fun. We played bingo and had tons of food. Christmas morning was fun. The kids were up at 5:45. My parents and sister and her family were going to come to our house to watch my kids open presents. They were suppose to come at 6:30 that was a long 45 min. to keep kids out of the living room. They were very surprised and STILL BELIEVE IN SANTA. I know some think this is horrible, but I think as long as they know the real reason we celebrate, it doesn't hurt for them. Anyway, they had a great time, we have been busy cleaning house this morning. My sister and I are going to start working together, even though she lives in Minnesota to lose some weight. We are both going to dust off the treadmills and get busy, I have been doing crunches for a week now, 100 in the morning and 100 at night. I can already tell a big difference in my stomach. Also SANTA brought the kids a Wii, we have been boxing , bowling and playing tennis and baseball. I stayed up last night and boxed for about 30 minutes last night and boy am I sore. I think I just found my new workout program. Play Wii for 30 minutes every night. Better run, I have to flip laundry and the knob broke off of the washer, so I have to use needle nose pliers to turn it on, have to go to town today and find a new knob.
Blessings to all, hope everyone had a great Christmas

Its that time, all I do is run it seems. Today I overslept. I was up with the baby last night and was just out of it this morning, but we made it to school. On Wednesday's I have play group, so after that I had to get my driver's license renewed. Which meant I had to go to the bank to the lock box to get my birth certificate and find my SS card. By the time I got to the bank the baby was asleep. So I had to wake him up to go in then over to the license place. Luckily we know the lady that runs it and one of her staff goes to our church. Thank fully Jessica took the boys for me while I got my license. Then back house to put the boys down, I took a nap to. The ladies of my bible study and the secret sisters went out for dinner tonight. It was a great night. Now it is bed time, I have to work in the morning and have to set up for my group meeting on Friday. I am having Winter Wonderland, I have made a igloo out of milk jugs and bought this stuff called Insta snow that looks like real snow for the kids to play in . Also made snowballs out of socks. We are having hot chocolate. I really hope I have a great turn out. I have worked hard to improve my program and expand it also.

Everyone if finally feeling better, yeah... And I have HOT water again. Thanksgiving morning we realized we had no hot water. It still had 2 years on the warranty so we called the store and they told us to call the company. Well they were closed until Monday. So Monday dh called and they told us they would replace it. So we had to drain it and take it back to the store and dh installed the new one last night. God is so good, a new water heater and no money out of my pocket. Also God works in great ways. We may get my son's dental work about $500 done for free. The dentist office is needing computer work done and they asked my husband to come do it. So I better get back to work, need to do laundry but dh forgot to turn the gas back on the dryer and I can't reach it. So I have to wait till he get home.

My dd finally got up at 12:15 yesterday, she is feeling great. DH is moving slow, we had cement poured friday for a sidewalk, so he worked on that on friday and is so sore. I keep teasing him he is walking like the Tim Conway character the 100 year old man. We are getting ready for church, spending the day at the inlaws helping them get some things done, my fil is having back problems and needs help more. We all took showers at my folks yesterday, guess we will do that again tonight, and call the company about the hot water heater on monday, to see if they will honor the warrenty still left on it. Better run and get dressed.

Wednesday the kids were feeling better, so we went and had christmas pictures taken, then just laid around the house. Thursday we were up early and started cooking the kids watched the Macy parade, oh, we did have a little problem was we thought the baby had turned the gas off on the hot water heater, but he didn't something is wrong with it. So I ran to my folks for a shower and the rest had a bath the night before. We went to my bil 's house , we had a great time, some of my husbands cousin's were there that we don't get to see very often. My bil loves to cook and had made muffins with a secret ingredient, we all had to guess. It was acorns. They weren't bad just not much taste. Friday morning my dd and I went shopping. Got most of my shopping done and we had fun, she then got sick again. She was sick all night then got up with her stomach itching, I gave her some lotion . She was allergic to. she broke out in hives all over. Then my ds was up throwing up. Not much sleep last night. Went out and took a shower and ran to joann's to get fabric to make my dad some chaps for christmas. He goes horseback riding with his buddies and they all were chaps and guns like old cowboys, so my dad is wanting some too. I bought furry cowhide looking material to make chaps and a vest like the old Roy Rodgers movies. I can't wait for him to open them on christmas. We are all heading out to my folks so the rest can take showers now. Dd is feeling better finally. May go to a friends house to night just depends on how everyone is feeling.

Both the older kids got up sick this morning. Ds is mostly just allergies and his ears finally drained, dd I think has the stomach flu. So with only working one day this week , I could not stay home. My mom said she could watch the older ones and the little ones went to the babysitter. I finally made it to work for a couple of hours then home by 1:00, the little ones down for a nap and the sick ones settled. With only getting paid once a month, I have to plan ahead. Normally Rashel and I would have done our freezer cooking, but just didn't get it done this month. So when I went shopping last night, I purposely bought things to make meals for the freezer. I just finished the last one. I managed to get 2 tater tot casseroles, 2 chicken tetrazzini, 1 ham and cheese sandwich, 1 chicken fajita, 1salsbury steak, 1 sloppy joe bake, 1 taco pocket patties. WIth those and a few favorites that can't be frozen we are set for the month. I am very thankful God helped keep the kids occupied so I could get all that done. It makes for quiet dinner time in the end.
Tomarrow we don't have school and are taking the kids to get christmas pictures taken. Then I found out tonight I have to lead bible study Wed night. So I better get busy and get my lesson done.
Blessings to all and Happy thanksgiving.
Don't forget to count your blessing......

If any of you have checked out Flylady you know about the House Fairy. I have been doodling with Flylady trying to get my house under control. I have been reading the emails about House fairy so I checked it out today. I watched the little video telling the kids about her. I called all the kids in to watch. My oldest the 10 dd was really just thinking it was just a lady dressed up. Housefairy was saying mom and dad had to contact her to make an appointment for her to come. My 8 ds ran off to clean he was scared she would come and he wouldn't get a surprise, dd thought she was crazy. I was messing around checking things out on the site about contacting her when my dd walked up. So I started writing to the Housefairy that I was needing help and my dd ran off telling my ds that mom is making a appointment. She actually helped him clean his room then he helped her clean her room. Then I heard the vacum running. So when dh came home I ran to the Dollar store and picked up a hair clip and some tractors, and hid them in the diaper bag as I came in and then sent them out to clean the van and get ready to go. While they were buckling up I put them on the beds. When we came home they were so surprised they got something. My dh tried to say i wrote the notes, I kept denying it. No amount of threats have ever made them move as fast as they did when they thought the Housefairy was coming. I hope this last., I told them she wont come everyday, because she has so many houses to check. But they better keep their rooms clean just in case. THANK YOU HOUSEFAIRY.....

Thanks to Rashels wonderful bread recipe, I have been making bread for my family. I have shared some with my mom and aunt and they have requested some. So monday I was home and usually try to make bread I figured 2 for us, 2 for mom and 2 for my aunt. While making the bread I was REALLY cleaning the boy's room. I realized that I cannot make bread and breath at the same time. Several weeks ago I was making bread and had realized that I forgot the eggs. It still turned out ok. But Monday when I was on my last 2 loaves I kept checking it and it was not rising. OH YA, I forgot the YEAST!!! Rashel suggested I make breadsticks and I was, but I looked on the internet and found that you can add yeast after you have it mixed. Just activate the yeast with warm milk and then knead it into the bread. It rose and then again the second time. The loaf is not as tall as the others, but no one has complained. But before it was done, I decided I needed to make 2 more just incase it didn't taste good. So in all I made 8 loaves in one day. Boy are my arms and chest sore. Tuesday was just work. Tonight was great, My church started a ladies bible study in Sept. When we finished the book, we decided we wanted to do a fitness bible study. So we are starting 30 min early and walking or doing exercise then doing bible study. We had a great time tonight. It is so uplifting. Well I am ready for bed I am having problems with my eye AGAIN. This is the 3 time in 4 months that I have had a eye infection. So I have to call the eye doctor in the morning and get some more drops.
Good night all and blessings

Friday night was the school carnival, we made our appearance and took the boys around to the rooms to play games, my dd went with my mom and aunt to the school play. Saturday we cleaned house and then ran to town and picked up a wedding present for my cousin, she was married Sat. afternoon at a small community center in a inky dinky town that use to be a busseling train depot. It land use to be a rodeo ground but the have build a center with a beautiful mural of the hub of town. They used the mural as the background for the wedding. They decorated with fall leaves, pumpkins and mums. It was just so neat and wonderful, you could feel God's presence and it was amazing considering the hard core of the families. We then went home and but a tired baby to bed and ran to town to get flour and butter to make bread. Sunday we went to church and then came home and cleaned some more. Then my mom and I ran to a new flea market looking for aluminum bread pans. I have one and love it, unfortunatley we didn't find anything. We made tonight family movie night, we rented Evan Almighty, it was a great movie and the kids loved it, they have been asking for a long time to watch it, have been waiting for it to be on payperview, we either missed it or it hasn't been on yet. The kids are asleep, and so is dh on the couch.
I am hoping to get several loaves of bread made, tomarrow some for us and my mom and dad and aunt and uncle.
By the way my uncle is not doing good, he has started chemo and is having trouble eating. We all know that time is just matter of when. I am pretty sure he has asked God into his life, so that hasn't been weighing on my heart, it is my aunt, she is really having a tough time taking care of him. He is very moody and has been very hard to live with, which is nothing unusual for him. Just pray for strengh for her to make it through and that he step children and Jim reconcile and make amends.
Better go, blessings to all

Last week my dad went on a horseback riding trip, so my mom was all alone. When dad is cone, my mom always wants to go do something. So Thursdays, I work, but I was done early, so I picked up the little ones and we went to town. I had invited mom over for supper and then it was bedtime. So Friday, I went out and had breakfast and then home and made bread and cleaned house and put one down for a nap. Then we ran back to town, We had found a Rachel Ray skillet at TJMAX for 14.99 we found the same skillet at Kolh's for 35.00. Mom told me she was going to get it for my Birthday which is next month. Mom wanted to go get it before it was gone. So she came over for supper again. Then Saturday we went to the big city to get the boys pictures taken. Then I had to get to church, we were catering a dinner for the local 4-h group that meets at our church. So dh just dropped me off and went to his parents house. Sunday we went to church and then home, Mom came out for lunch and then I had to go get diapers. Then we all went to my parents for supper and take our trailer to store in my dad's barn for the winter. To day the kids were out of school and I had great plans to clean house, some deep cleaning. and make 4 loaves of bread. My oldest son has complained of a sore throat all weekend and I have noticed he was talking really loud. So we went to the dr. and his ears are both flat lined on the tympanic and his throat is nasty. So he is on anitbiotics and a new nose spray to help clear up his ears. We have been fighting fluid in his ears for 4 years, his allergies are the cause of it . Normally this happens in the spring time. But with our weather so crazy, he is really having problems in the fall.
Well it is back to work tomarrow and I think it is a busy day. I have a assembly in the morning, then 2 home visits then a teacher's meeting in the afternoon.
Better get the last 2 loaves of bread in the oven, so I can get to bed.
Blessings to all

When did time decide to fly at warp speed. It seems like yesterday we were looking at our house to buy on our lunch hour from Walmart. That was 13 years ago, almost 11 years ago we were bringing our first born home from the hospital. Now we have 4 children and 7 months we will be married 15 years.
In 9 days we will celebrate the anniversay of our first date 17 years ago. We met at Walmart and I made the first move asking him out and then 3 years later we were married. How does time get away like that, I don't feel older. I still feel like I did in high school. I don't feel like a I am 36 almost 37 years old. I just blows my mind all the time to think of my self as a mother of 4 and married. It was something I had dreamed about since I was little. I never saw myself as a business person, working out in the real world all I ever wanted to be was a MOM. And some day's it can be very challenging. When the 1 year old moves from the trash can to the cabinets back to the trash can, and while I am cleaning that up he notices the bathroom door open and in he goes to get in the toilet. All while the 3 year old is crawling across the floor roaring like a lion and pushing his brother out of the way. And cringing when i look into the older kids bedrooms and see the piles they have been hiding from me. But when the 1 year old toddles up and gives you those wet kisses and the 3 year old tells me he loves me it makes it all worth it.
No if the older kids would just keep their room clean. No school on monday and we will be working on their rooms.
Blessings to all

Time just gets away so fast. Last week I was swamped again, Saturday a nearby town held its annual Festival. The Maple Leaf Festival last all week, but the highlight is the parade on Saturday.. It is the biggest parade in Southwest Missouri. It last over 2 hours. We have a great time, my dh's aunt lives on the route, so all his aunts, uncles, cousins meet there and have breakfast, then watch the parade from the front porch or curb. After the parade we have lunch, then everyone just goes different directs. Some go to the band festival and watch the field shows, some go to the car show, some of us walk to the square and check out the craft show. This year we all went and toured the local hospital, they are building a new one and it was open for tours. My bil is the CFO of the hospital so we had a special tour. Then later that evening our family went to the finals at the band festival. That it the best part, it consist of 8 bands, the best of all the schools competing for the championship. I personally feel the band who one was not the best. The school who received 2nd was outstanding. I am not the only one who thought this. OH well, Sunday we just did nothing, I ran to town and finished up grocery shopping and picked up a few crafts for our church's Harvest Party. I need one more quick easy fall craft to do if anyone has any ideas. I really need to get off and get busy. THe baby just went down for his nap and the 3 yo is pulling the Just one more show line today. After the backyardigans he is going down. If anyone has ever watched it the music is fantastic all the music is swing 40's jazz music. Well the laundry and beds are calling my name. I really need to make some bread, and start supper. I would really like a 20 min power nap.
Talk later, Blessings to all
