I'm baaackkkkkk..

Well we got back from our vacation to Wildwood NJ with our friends Gary and Linda.  We had a great time, here are some pictures:

We were all standing on the beach in the morning, it was very overcast that day with little sunshine, and then the fog rolled in.  We had a great time walking about 4 miles that morning, 2 miles one way and 2 miles back.  The water temperature was 55 degrees that day, freezing!

Ok then we stopped a lady walking on the beach, and she took this  of us...

Then we went to the Lobster house and WOW was that sign HUGE!

And of course Gary and Linda

And YES Linda is very thin, a size 0 and about 85 lbs.. (some people have all the luck)

WE all had a Great time, but as always it just went by so fast.. we did this 5 years ago and we can't let that much time go by until we do it again.  It was alot of fun, we were very relaxed, we were happy just sitting on the porch of our rooms and watching the people.  We watched a woman and her husband park cars and run around all day in a parking lot on their property.  They owned a small rental place about 4 small apartments and they used their parking to park cars each day.  We were only 1/2 block from the beach.  We finally got to speak to her and they have the place for sale.  She said she can't afford the taxes.. It was probably about an acre or so land, get ready for this guess how much their taxes are??

$30,000 A YEAR! YES YOU READ RIGHT!

I was absolutely in shock over that, and I thought I had it bad..WOW!

   Well as I type this John is laying our new kitchen floor, I want to get some pictures taken and add to my blog soon..

Looks and sounds like you all had a great vacation!!!!! And $30,000 for taxes alone??? WOW!!! That is amazing, you should have heard me gasp when I read that, and I swear, my heart skipped a beat too!!!

I am glad you enjoyed your trip to the ocean with your friends. I so miss the ocean beaches.... I am from WA state and would vacation each year on the beach.... now in MIssouri.... the beach is a LONG ways away!
