Wow today was fun and exciting.. My friend Amy Jo, my 2 daughters, her son and I all decided to run to the town I used to live in to get my mail and then drive another 13 miles to a couple of stores we like to check out..

So on our way out of town I said "hey look it is so and so". Well my dear friend turns around and is looking so we just about mowed over a nice truck that had stopped to turn into McDonalds.. I screamed and we avoided the mowing over of the nice truck which in turn prevented us from getting mowed over from a car behind us..

So we proceeded out of town and to get my mail and on north.. We stopped at the first store and things might have looked a bit weird in the sky, but nothing horrid.. We went into the next store and came out and it was nasty looking. I said hey let's go to caseys and I will get us a drink.. Well when I came out they told me we were under a tornado warning in our hometown.. So us being cool and such headed back towards home.. We drove right into that there storm we's a havin and ended up pulling into a driveway of people we did not know and Amy Jo went to the door and we were invited in to take cover... Thank you Jesus.. 2 teen boys were home and let us in and offerd us towels because we came in soaking wet due to the pouring rain and hail. We stayed till the tv said it was all clear, we thanked the boys and their mom who had come home and were on our way...

We had a pretty eventful day we bout mowed over someone, then bout got blown away by a storm, but God blessed us and took care of us through it all.. God is GOOD.. Wanna have some fun come hang out with Amy Jo and I..

I know in the Bible it talks about there being a time or season for everything.. I know that and I am usually good about seeing that, however sometimes I am just no good at it.. LOL

Friends have come and gone and although it was hard to see a few go others I was glad to see go. I know that with some I have held on for dear life because I did not want to see them go. The hard thing for me tends to be when they go, but you still see them in everyday life, but *it's* just not there anymore. That bothers me.. If we were friends for a season I want us to still be able to talk or whatever when we see each othe out, but I know that is not always possible...

Anyway I know that I am rambling and rambling. I will admit that in someways my heart hurts over what is and has gone on, but I am going to be fine.. God is in control and that is all that matters..

Gotta run I am tired..

Good Tuesday Morning everyone.... How are you this fine Tuesday?? We are doing pretty good here.. I have been up and had breakfast and the little guys are up eating breakfast.. correction my littlest woke up to early and is now throwing a fit..  The girls are still sleeping and will be for another 30 minutes or so...

I have to finish the dishes, get the laundry together, take a shower, vaccum and something else before I head out today... We have ballgames tonight as well so that should be fun.. To be honest I wish it was muddy enough to not have them tonight.. I really enjoy the games, however today is well just not a day I want to do ballgames.. LOL

Well I better get off here and get busy getting stuff done so we can get erverything else done for today...

People who just like to be mean and hateful for no reason.. I have been the kind of person all my life that I would help out anyone who needed it heck even if they didn't need it I helped out.. I think I remember my mother saying once many years ago I was just to nice of a person and I just let people walk all over me.. Well that maybe true in many ways, but as a Christian I feel like you need to help others who are in need and I know that not all that say they are in need are truly in need..

So I get a call today from a friend who is crying and tells me what is going on. I told her to calm down and let us talk so that is what we did.. She told me about another friend coming by and what they had said to her that she knew was an untruth because she and I had talked earlier in the week and she knew that I had helped this particular friend out..

Anyway long story short.. the first friend I helped out lied to the 2nd friend and so since I felt bad I helped out the 2nd friend.. How crazy is all that.. Iknow this sounds kinda confusing, but I had to get it off my chest...

I can't believe that it is Monday again already.. I was busy all day and I am very tired today.. I was thinking about a nap, but here I am catching up with my friends...

Tonight I am going walking with a friend and then I am going to be making fajitas for supper tonight.. Josie has been asking me for them and so tonight is the night for them.. I have the meat thawing and will be cooking them up soon. I want to eat them before I walk so I can walk mine off.. LOL

Did ya'll have a good weekend?? I did? We spent sometime with my mom and dad and at ballgames this weekend and the younger boys spent a night at grandma's house and they got haircuts while there were there..

Last night was the Relay for Life here and my sister has a friend who has cancer. Her dad and sister have also had it, her dad passed away a year or 2 ago and Brandy has recently gotten the news that she had it. She has 2 daughters a 10 year old and I think her other one is one..

Anyway last night as a tribute and a way to make money for the relay my sister had decided to get her head shaved for a fundraiser.. I want to share a couple pictures of my sister with ya'll. I think it took a lot of courage to do this and I commend her for doing it..

She let the girl scouts that are in the troop with my neice and the little girl of Brandys take turns cutting her hair..

Here is a picture of my neice and my youngest sister Megan help shave my sister Jennifer's head..

Anyway my sister and I do not always see eye to eye like very rarely, but I am proud of her for going through with this in support of her friend..

My 8 year old son saw her bald and said mom she is not my aunt or whatever anymore.. LOL I told him why she did it and they kids think it is cool now..

Ok gotta run for now we have ballgames tonight...

On Tuesday May 20th we had our last day of school.. My baby graduated kindergarten and my oldest baby graduated the 8th grade.. My oldest Jordin was the salutatorian of his class and he had to share a speach and all.. Here is a couple pictures of George.. AKA Jordin

I can't believe my oldest baby will be in high school next school year.. I also can't believe that  my baby will be in 1st grade next year.. My babies are growing up so darn fast and I can't believe it.. At the end of the next school year my oldest daughter will graduate from the 8th grade and as it looks now she will be the valadictorian of her class...

I am so proud of my babies.. They are my life!

Joslyn called me this afternoon and said mom do you care if we come home tonight?? I said no sweetheart.. What time? She said I will call you and I said okie dokie smokie... I went out to my moms again and had supper and goofed off till they got there and they wanted to swim a bit which i let them do as I was doing a load of laundry..

Anyway my babies are back.. They are tired little people, but they are home with mommy and sleeping right now.. We went to the grocery store on the way home from my parents and got food..

My mom and her friend Pam were at home as was my dad and we laughed and laughed and laughed.. Pam is from England originally and is a neat lady who is really nice.. Yes mom I approve of Pam.. She can join the ranks of Miss Twila..:)

Well it is really late like after 1am, but I just wanted to shout out my babies are home with their mommy.. :)

I am headed to bed.. Good Night..

My kids have been gone with their dad since last friday afternoon. They are supposed to be with dad every other week during the summer. They are coming home tomorrow Thursday when their dad goes to work in the am.. I am excited.. I think we are going to try to camp out this weekend and just have a grand old time..  I am excited for them to come home.. I am sure that they are ready as well.. In fact I know they are my oldest daughter keeps sending me emails.. LOL

I am sure they had some fun while with their dad and stepmom, but nothing beats mommy.. My kids are mommies kids. I need to go to the grcoery to stock up for the week since they are going to be home again.. I didn't really need much for just little old me.. :) I am excited and can't wait for my babies to be home again safe and sound with mommy.. There goes all my peace and quiet for a while though.. Oh well I would rather have them here with me than all the quietness.. :)

Well I guess I am running out to my moms to take a friend swimming.. I am not going to swim, but Jordin and Nikki can swim.. That water is not near warm enough for me.. LOL

Here it is Sunday afternoon and I sit here at the computer just thinking about life and things. It is a beautiful day outside. My friend asked me to attend a soccer game with her this afternoon in a nearby town and I declined as I just want to do things here by myself today..

I went to bed last night at midnight and I slept till 12:30 today. I heard my alarm once and then I slept through it the second time so I missed Church this am which I am bumed about.

I have lost some weight which is a good thing for me, however I am going to be working harder at loosing more and getting in shape. I really am not horribly overweight or out of shape, but I want to be much better. I am trying to eat healthier and I have cut down on my portions and I am doing pretty good, just want to do better.

I am trying to get back into my poem and story writing as well. I have filled out my college application and my aid stuff so I am going to start classes this fall. Do not ask what I am going to be because I have no idea. I am also working at having a much more simple life and more homesteading ideas for my kids and I..

Well I am going to get off here for now, but will be back......

I can't believe that May is almost gone.. The kids have been on summer break for a week now. Tomorrow they are supposed to be going swimming for a birthday party.. I sure hope tomorrow is warmer than today. LOL..

I am supposed to have internet at my house again on Friday.. WOOHOO I am so darn excited and it will be high speed too. I can't believe it, but finally I will have it and I personally cannot wait to get it..

Lots of things have been happening with my family and we are adjusting and doing pretty good. Things are going good and all is ok. I do not want to talk much about what is or what has gone on as really it is noones business what happens in our house. I am not trying to be mean or hateful, but it is between God, my husband and I. God is in control and is working and that is what matters to me.

I can't wait till I can post again everyday or so and catch up on my friends.. I miss reading ya'lls blogs everyday.. I am still helping out at the scrub store and I really enjoy it..

Well I better get off here for now, but wanted you to know I was thinking of ya'll and missing you...

Hey there.. Longtime no post here. Lots of things have been going on and well I am not going to get into it all here, but I will say that things are getting better and better everyday so hopefully I will be back to posting regularly again soon..:)

I am working part time at a local store and that has been fun and interesting for me. I work the hours the kids are in school, might be a bit tricky since school is going to be out as of Tuesday at 1pm.. I am excited about summer break this year. I am not sure about anything for the summer yet, however I do know that the gas will keep us close to home at least most of the time...

I have been off my menu and such as well and can't wait to get back into my routines.. Anyway I just wanted everyone to know that I am still alive and well and will be a regular poster again soon.. Pray for us right now.

God is in control and I am sitting back in AWE and watching Him work in my family and it is a huge blessing..

Oh yeah and guess what we found out my mom really does have a heart.. LOL Sorry mom I had to go there, but you know I love you.. Amy Jo thank you for doing my laundry.. I love you too..

Good Morning.. I have been up and going hard and fast this morning.. Today is Joslyn and Lana's trip to our state capitol in Jefferson City so they had to be at school early. got them up and off and started a load of laundry. I have done dishes, laundry, trash, kids off to school, and I am getting ready to walk, take a shower, have quiet time and head off to work.

I just want to say that I do not know how some people do it. They seeem to be grumpy people all the time. You try to talk to some people and it is like talking to a tree and yet you know that they can and do talk. It is like hello at least me nice and have some manners about yourself. What is funny to me is these people who act like that towards us usually have no real good reason why they do it. I have found that some people act this way when you choose to be your own person and they want you to be a puppet on a string. Let me just say that I was once a puppet on a string and I am so much better off now, I used to have bad self esteem and I had a lady tell me the other day that I am so much better than I was a year ago.. Praise the Lord....

Ok well I really should be going.. I have rambled long enough..

Woohoo the sun is shining and it is windy out, but it is supposed to get up to 72 or so today.. I am excited about that.. I have flowers blooming and I know that spring is upon us and that just makes life better..

Today is a catch up day for me here at home.. I have some laundry to catch up and I need to do the supper dishes from last night.. Just enjoy the day..

Our houseguest went home today. It was nice to have her here. The girls really enjoyed it, but she needed to get home so be gone with her now.. LOL She is a good girl..

I am going to make some cookies today.. My friend gave me a recipe for homemade doughnuts this am so I am thinking about making doughnuts for the kids too.

I have several plans and ideas here. I helping a friend in her store a few hours a week so that is fun. I am so excited about things right now..

Well I better get off here for now, but I will be back soon...

This morning was so very fun. My friend Amy Jo had a bad night last night and so she did not make it to the brunch another friend Tammy had to take her daughter to the dr, however My friends Tammy and Cara came up and we ate and ate and ate then we talked and talked then ate and ate some more.

While we were talking Cara said that her grandma or great grandma had lived next door a longtime ago and she was wondering how it was there now, so I called up my neighbor Shally and told her what was going on and so she called me back a few minutes later and we were able to go over so Cara could see the house years later.. It is a neat old house that has lots of character and needs some work which Shally and her hubby are doing bit by bit. Anyway it was neat and Shally sent Cara home with a box of things letters and such that had belonged to people in her family..

We did a devotion and just had some good food and fellowship and it was wonderful and I can't wait to do it again. I think next time we are going to have a tasting party and everyone can bring their fave snack food or something.. Anyway I just wanted to share what a great time we had and what a blessing it was to be able to have these girls in my house to talk to and fellowship with...
