I'm quite certain the ins man seriously wonders about us. While I was off xeroxing something, I heard him say something about internet and axe murders (IOW, referencing all of you!ROTFL). Our little snide remarks probably don't help. I was trying to get DH to give me ANY input about whether a 15 or 20 term for life ins. He listened to Dave Ramsey so we will at least be out from under the whole life policy. He mumbled something about this being 'my thing' and I said, well I thought you might at least pretend to care!ROTFL!!!!!!! The guy was here almost 2 hours. Lots of signatures. We opened a 529, are rolling over my 401K into an traditional IRA (to avoid penalties), opening a Roth Ira at the end of the year when I get my rent check and switched life ins policies around. Dh and I just feel slightly differently about ins. I wanted the 15 yr cuz both boys will be out of the house (Joey's college will be paid for) and I'll just have to fend for myself, which I have no issues with getting a job at that point. The house will long be paid for, college paid for, and barring any medical issues, we'd be debt free. So w/Dh's life ins money, I'd be fine for a long time anyway. But he felt better about 20 years, so we went that route. Way more than anyone cared to know...........LOL

We had that same problem. How are you going to open your Roth? PM and let me know. This is what we will be doing very soon. (On baby step 3) Are you going through a bank or what? I am having trouble with this step. I
