It's that time of year again.........soda labeling time!

I got 10 of the 16.5 cases done. I could've done more, but DH is working on a water proof label (this would SERIOUSLY decrease our prep time!). SO I"m going to wait to see how this works out. But I can easily get 6.5 cases done on Friday. The boys were a HUGE help. Mat moreso than Joey as Mat hauled the cases and stuff so I pretty much placed the label on the packing tape and cut it. Joey got cans out, Mat hauled cases, labeled the cans, filled the cases and restacked the cases. I figure that our family will wind up doing about 1/3 of them again so with us being this streamlined, it'll be much easier than the past! I think we spent 1.5 hours doing 10 cases?!?!? So only like 4.5 hours to label all of that! We just take a check adn go buy them adn haul them straight home. Most congregants are just donating money and it's easier in some ways. But this year, we're keeping everything that we label here (as in, in my great room!) and that way we aren't hauling it all to the church basementa nd then back up again for the parade. But one more week of labeling like this, and I feel like we've done our fair share.
