Tomatoes, Cucumbers and Lettuce Oh MY!

My garden is finally in !!!!  My kids and DH worked on getting in ready on Mother's Day.  I bought some stuff from seed and some plants last weekend but never got around to planting them because of the crazy busy week I had.  Well today after church that's what we did.  I'm gonna have , if everything grows good anyway, cukes, tomotoes, lettuce, snow peas, zuchinni, yellow squash, and peppers.  I still have a little space left so I'm thinking about doing carrots this year as well, which is new for us.  Hopefully I can do a better job with weeding this year.  Last year we had people over for some BBQ and someone hit the volleyball over in my garden and I said "Oh no not in the garden"  Their response was...."That's a garden??"    LOL!  I think I am going to make it part of the kids summer chores.  That outta force us all to stay on top of it.    Well  I'm off to go spend some more QT with the hub...we actually got to lay in the hammock together for about a half hour today and relax.  It was heavenly!  Have a great night!

My garden last year sounds a little like your did...but hopefully after our dd wedding is over I will be able to get out and tend to it....lots of rain also is preventing me from getting in there.
