What a night last night!

Yesterday, while I was in kitchen getting Jacob's cup ready so I could put Jake in for his nap, Faith hit Jake in the face! Faith hit him because Jake threw one of his stacking cups at her! Faith and Jake should have known better, but once in a while things like this happen! Jake was crying, but I thought he was making more of it because it was his nap time. I put Jake in for his nap and he woke up crying after only 45 minutes! At this point I still did not know anything was wrong. The kids had dentist appointments so I just got Jake out of his crib, got ready, and got into the van to leave. The whole time Jake was wailing! He was rubbing his eye and screaming! I got to the dentist where Joe was waiting for me, because the day before I told him about the dentist appointment and he was to meet me there because there was no way I could sit in the dentist's office for any long period of time! By the time I got there Jake was still screaming. Joe took the kids into the dentist while I took Jake to the walk-in. We got in there and it was packed. Jake was still screaming, I did not know what was going on and I was extremely scared. The lady at the reception desk said she would have a nurse come out to see him. Well......we waited and waited while Jake screamed in this little waiting room! I could not believe that had us wait, then this kind gentlemen that was called before us, let us go in his place. They brought Jake in and we waited some more. Finally the Dr. came in and told me after squirting some cream in his eyes that he had a scratch on the white of his one eye! She said he would be fine, and that by tomorrow he would forget that this happened! Thank God! I did not know what was going on, I thought maybe he had something stuck in his eye or something! I am still not sure whether Jake did this to himself or Faith did! I am just thankful that he is feeling better today!

Thank goodness it didn't scratch any more than that. I am glad he is ok!!!! Bless his heart, that must have hurt.
