My children have been math phobic for many years.  Curriculum after curriculum has produced nothing but tears.  This year, we started Math U See.  We started with Gamma, because I didn't feel like they had a good foundation with multiplication. 

I was really proud of them when they finished that in January.  So, on January 14, I ordered Delta.

They are FLYING through it.  In fact, we will be doing Lesson 20 on Monday!  So, yesterday, 1 month and 1 day after I ordered Delta, I placed the order for Epsilon!

Geniuses, I tell you!!

I plan to use this same program next year. I have always used Making Math Meaningful which is really good, but now my daughter is about done with Algebra and mommy needs extra help. lol. So i will be starting all my kids on Math u See!!!!!!

I love MUS - my son is flying through it too - he is doing gamma - and he is 6! it just gives such a good foundation that he is able to extrapolate from it to discover math on his own. love it! (and it cured my friend's son's mathphobia/hatred in 2 lessons)
