My new goat is here, she's a lamancha/saanen. Her name is Angie and she is 2 years old. She's very sweet and I am VERY excited. She milks around 3/4 of a gallon a day, this is going to be so great for us. I can't wait until tonight to milk!!

Milking

We have goats here, but I've milked very little - just taken a little from mom's once the babies are older to make soap. I'd like to make some goats milk ice cream this year though, and maybe consider milking a little more regularly. So many things to learn! :-)
