I am so excited to have this blog.  If nothing else just for me to look back on.  My name is Mandy, I am 26 yeras old and married to my wonderful husband Lee.  We have 3 children, Leanna who is 6, Isaac who is 5, and Eli who is 3.

Right now I am in the process of really digging down deep and working on my relationship with the Lord.  I love to wake up early but haven't been doing so much, the last few days I have been getting up around 5:00am and I'm loving it.  It gives me so much more time, I can wake up and read my bible while drinking my coffee.  What a feeling!  I can't believe I have let myself slip away from God for so long.

Today I am going to pick up my lamancha milking doe so hopefully no more store bought milk for our family.  We will see how much she produces.  I am still hoping that my nubian doe will freshen but I'm just not sure if she took this year. : /  Time will tell but I'm definetly not holding my breath.

I have to go for now but wanted to introduce myself, I hope to be here more often and get to know like minded women. :)

your intro sounds a lot like me. I, too like to awaken early, but don't, and have been since I started here - to eat my first breakfast (being pregnant, I eat 6-7 small meals a day!) and read my scriptures.
Come over and visit - I look forward to reading more of your thoughts.

Glad you are here

Hi! I'm Karyn from Oregon. We have an 8 year old daughter & an almost 6 year old son. I completely understand about those golden early hours of the day. It seems to be the only time I can find to be uninterrupted to focus on the Lord in quiet. And my kids love it when I am up before them, and they can smell breakfast drifting down the hallway...and my husband knows it is time to get up when he smells the freshly perked coffee on the stove. Plus, I am more refreshed & focused...when I don't have this morning time, it's like the alarm goes off and I'm out the shoot running! Things are just so much better when I put God first in my day & let him guide us through it. It is not always this way...but it is what I strive for & praise God for his mercy & love in my shortcomings. I also praise him for women like you & friends who are like minded to encourage & share in our journey.

hello!
