• Saturday, June 21, 2008 - Ah, the pool....

Today, for the first time since I was a teenager (no exaggeration here) and I'm a geezer now, I wore shorts. To be exact, they are girl boxers, and I bought them because the pool beckoned and I can not find a suitable suit. So, a tank top and girly boxers (cute, dark blue with embroidered tulips, rofl) and a pair of legs that are much more suited to this now than previously except that they are incredibly pale, and I jumped into a nice, COLD cold, did I mention cold? pool. What a great blessing to have! It was about 90*, and because I have lost some weight I was not too embarrassed for my dear hubby to see me outside like that. Fortunately, we live out in the country and where our pool is situated no one can see a whole lot unless they stop and stare, so THAT is a good thing! It was lovely to soak up the coolness together (the children were gone), and just enjoy one another's company.... Another blessing... they are everywhere, if we only look....
