Berry Cobbler
Hometown parades, barbecues, gardening, sunny days, berry picking, and delicious homemade berry desserts are some of the simple pleasures of summer. Here's my recipe for Berry Cobbler. It's best served warm with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream! Berry Filling:
Pastry Dough:
1. Preheat oven to 400F. Lightly grease 9-inch pie plate. Toss all of the filling ingredients together in small bowl, then evenly distribute in pie plate. Set aside. 2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, mix together a teaspoon of sugar and cinnamon. Set aside. 3. Cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse meal. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture, pour in milk. Stir with fork. Drop by spoonfuls onto berries. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. 4. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until crust is golden brown. Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 11 of 36 } { Next Page } |
