Marathon training (yep!, I'm still at it!)My training has been going really well. In the last (almost) 2 weeks, I have only missed one run and that was due to being up too late doing homework, not because of laziness. We have run a total of 16.4 miles so far, and we average about 1.5 miles per day. We are up to running 3 minutes straight with 2 minutes of walking between each run. We've added crunches and "wall-sits" this week to help strengthen our core muscles and legs. We're starting with 40 crunches and 30 seconds of wall-sitting. When I was in track and at my fittest, I was able to do 380 crunches and hold a wall-sit for almost 5 minutes. That's my goal eventually. We'll get there! I haven't weighed myself in about a week, so I don't know where I'm at, but I did lose 3 pounds the first week of running.
