Journey To Me

It might as well be $25,000!

Received a call from the transmission shop.  They said it is the transmission that is causing the problems.

Their worst case estimate is $2500.  It might as well be $25,000 because I don't have a penny to my name!

It is going to have to go on the credit card.

I have just started reading Dave Ramsey's "Total Money Makeover" and putting this repair on a credit card is the last thing I want to do!

My husband will be picking me up from work tonight and we will have a lovely heart to heart about our financial situation on the hour and a half drive home!  I am excited to clear the air with him about how I feel.  Hopefully he will be honest with me and tell me what he feels we can do to solve our "financial fattness".

So, my trip to Mexico in March is now out of the question.  I was really looking forward to thawing my feet out in the warm sand!

I can understand how disappointed you are - but when you get your finances back in order you'll feel a huge weight has been lifted. My husband and I are on a five year plan to get ourselves out of debt. It's so difficult at times but we just keep our eyes on the end. Hugs to you!((())))
