Remember today starts the TAX FREE WEEKEND for the state of Tennessee…… Let’s get shopping, lol……
I am on my way out now to take advantage of this with some clothes shopping for the girls. May even pick up a few school supplies. Even though we homeschool, we still need supplies…..

I know that I have not posted anything for a long time but I promise to give this new stuff a good chance before I make up my mind.
I love it here at HSB and I really don’t want to leave so I am giving it a good “college” try. Just might me a bit to get excited over everything again.

Church this morning was just so good. I really needed something to bring me out of the “slump” that I have been in for about the past month or so. I am blaming it on my mom’s death but really I don’t know when a small part of me seemed to fall into a “slumber” so to say.
But God is good and His grace is everlasting !
At church we have this young couple that just simply sing beautiful together or alone, lol….They are always singing something as special music in our services.
Well this morning, you could really feel God’s presents with us and the Spirit moving in the singing of the hymns.
This couple got up to sing and the song they sung was just what I needed to break through my “slumber” of my soul and awake me back to what it should be like in my soul.
The song they sang was by The Perry’s and it is titled – “If You Knew Him“. Here is the lyrics to the song:

I didn’t think that losing my mother would effect me like it did….I have been around here visiting your blogs but just never seemed to have anything to say here on my own.
I am hoping that is changing now and that I will feel like getting things going again. Even here around the house, things have been so different. We not only lost my mother but remember my father in law died back in Dec. We have had a big “void” to fill in our lives…
But……I am feeling good and things are looking bright once again. God has been good and He has been with me this whole time.
I look forward to posting my daily life here once again to share with my friends. Thank you for those of you that have stopped in to check on me.
