What the??? Not for children or the simple minded.
In a pitch for U.S. manufacturers and farmers,
Bush told his Chinese counterpart: "I strongly support your vision, Mr.
President, of encouraging your country to become a nation of consumers
and not savers."
What the??? How??? I mean... damn!
Ok, let's say that the world becomes a world of consumers, not savers... What happens?
Uh, maybe, ummm, debt?
Isn't our country going to be in a great deal of trouble when the
world, who figures out we won't pay off our national debt, decides to
act on this?
I like to think I'm going to leave a legacy and a better world for my
children, and their children. However, my fearless leader
suggests we (and the world,) should just BUY MORE!?! I don't want
my children and their children to have to pay my debts. I don't
mind if I die leaving nothing, as it is preferable to leaving my kids
and the future with a debt that I didn't see the need to pay.
Grrrr.
Think about it. I am.
Grrrrr.....
We need a world of savers, not a world of consumers.
Where do we come up with these people, our leaders?

***Where do we come up with these people, our leaders?***
Do you really want to know?
Hmmmm.
Well, our 'culture' has created these 'leaders'.
First, we took God off the throne and put ourselves in His Place. Then we systematically removed God from our teaching, training, and as our Leader. In His Place, we elevated education, women, open thinking, and every other form of Idolatry.
Once God was removed from the teaching and training (IE the schools) then "man" was free to indoctrinate the children with whatever he pleased.
Yes, not only has the public school system and the college system created these "leaders", but *we* VOTED them into power. The system is doing exactly what it was designed to do:
Create *people* who do not think freely, but rather let someone else tell then HOW to think and WHAT they should think, and WHEN they should think.
We have become a society that "Goose Steps" to the beat of the Godless System.
This is why the Bible is FULL of warnings against idolatry!!

Oh no... Sometimes it really feels like buying things is considered the most important thing in the world : ( If everyone in the word consumed as much as people in the western world in general, we would run out of natural resources really fast, too...
