What are YOUR plans for the Fourth????

We had a great cookout last year for lunch, thinking everyone we invited (family friends) would want to go their separate ways in the evening to be with family and shoot off fire works.  Well, we had so much fun, and lots of hamburger and hot dogs, buns and the fixin's left over and after everyone hung out most of the day, talked, laughed, and played games, we decided to do it all over again for dinner! LOL  It was alot of fun, and just upon finishing up dinner and cleaning up afterwards, we heard some fireworks outside.  So we all ran outside and neighbors a few blocks over were shooting off some wonderful fireworks.  We stood outside watching neighbors from all around shooting off fireworks as well as hubby and Kara's hubby shooting off fireworks in our back yard.  It was so much fun.

But it is a different year, and it seems our list of friends from last year all have family get togethers to attend this year.  Some have said they might be able to make it, but in reality, we won't know until the last minute.  So, I am pretty confident it is just going to be hubby, son, and I this year.  We are planning on cooking out most of the day (I will make baked beans and potato salad as well), and enjoying the fireworks in our neighborhood again.

We are really looking forward to hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill, since this will be the 2nd time we have used the grill this summer.  We are also hoping for some good weather, so we can set up Noah'd little pool and he can have some fun in it!!!  He is so adorable slidding down the mini slide in it and plopping into the pool!!

Anyway, I was just wondering what everyone else's plans were for this July 4th holiday.  Whatever you have planned, I hope you have fun, and are safe!

We'll be doing the same thing we do every year.....nothing! LOL We try to stay home on holidays such as this as to not be on the road with other drivers who may have had a little bit too much "fun" if you know what I mean? Hubby's B-day is on the 5th so the whole weekend is normally just spent at home with family, although this year son is going camping with a friend so it'll just be hubby and I.
