Checking in....Not much has been happening here, other than a relaxing Christmas at home with each other. The children got plenty of presents and we've been playing the new games. So far the family favorite of the new ones is Sorry. Anthony has been doing pretty well in that game. The Life game that I got from Walmart has a defective board (the holes to insert the plastic houses, etc. are not lined up correctly) I sent an email to the company which is to be looked at in the order it was received so not sure when I'll get a new board. We did play it today, with the pieces just resting on the board. It went well. I won! lolWe went to Walmart the other day to use some giftcards we've received from my mom and my grandma. Mariam picked out a couple sets of those little Disney princess dolls that are sort of like Polly Pockets. She has the Jasmine and Cinderella ones. Even Josiah enjoys playing along with her when she allows it. shhh...don't tell Josiah didn't find anything suitable just yet. He was hoping to find either the Star Wars 2 Lego or Chronicles of Narnia CD-rom but our closest Walmart didn't have either. We can try another one that is closer to church. Our calendar for January is already starting to fill up with field trips and bible studies and gymnastics. It has been nice this week, since I haven't had much in the way of appointments and activities. Choir is on a break until February (so Tony our leader can take a break..lol) On January 14th our church is starting a small groups campaign that they want the whole congregation to partipate in. Anthony and I are going to try and do a couples study (which will allow chilren to be present) on sunday evenings. This will be for six weeks. I am looking forward to having Anthony be able to do this with me. He works on Sunday mornings so he does not get much fellowship at this season in his life. I feel like this is getting pretty long. I write again when something comes up! ![]() 10:40 - Friday, December 29, 2006 - post comment
