Wow. Last week gets the "Best Week of Summer" award so far.

Monday~We went to the fireworks at the Bristol Sox game. Emily and Jonathan met us there to watch them. After an incredible display of fireworks (Which Jonathan thought was pathetic because he's used to Bristol Motor Speeday fireworks. So what if they have a bigger budget?) we went to Aaron and Beth's house for apple pie. Yummy.....whilst we ate out pie and ice cream Aaron shot off some Roman Candles and Bottle Rockets. We got home at like 12-12:30.

Tuesday~Fourth of July. I spent a lot of my day reading because I was so tired. Bubba and William and Brad and Ben and Jonathan and Summer and Aaron and Beth and Papaw came over. We ate way too much. Summer made a BEAUTIFUL dessert and it seemed a shame to eat it but oh was it ever tasty. Man, I am going to have to get her to make another one of those. Jonathan, Aaron, and Nathan played bluegrass for a bit and when it got dark we shot off some Roman Candles and our neighbor gave us some bottle rockets. Once everyone had left but the J-man we sat on the patio and watched the fireworks from the Virginian. One of them said "Happy Fourth of July". One was a smiley face and Anna said one was an American Flag. Once again I didn't go to bed til LATE.

Wednesday~We went to the Gerlocks house for supper! That was so much fun. We got to see their kittens and some horses that belong to their neighbor. We played bunches of outdoor and indoor games. Oh yeah, we played sardines outside and when Hannah hid she hid in a spot so that when we did find her we really did feel like sardines. "Ouch you're on my leg" "Stop sitting on me." "Hurry up and find us" "This hurts". You get the idea.

Thursday~ Aaron left for Atlanta to go to a workshop. I stayed with Beth that night and we watched Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. That was so great.

Friday~ I went around all day going, "My precious. They stole it from us. We needs it." :). I spent that night at Beth's house and we watch LOTR: The Two Towers.

Saturday~ That was like icing on the cake. Me and Beth went to the Farmer's Market and she got some things and we went to our house and I got my things together and got ready to go. Emily and Jonathan took me to McDonalds and exit 66 and we met the Gerlock girls there. We went to a block party at a pool. That was so fun. Balloon Toss, Towel Balloon toss (Me and Claire (6) were on a team and as she said "we were rockin' to the beat") Volley Ball, Home made chocolate ice cream, Swimming, Jumping off the diving board in the 12 ft water, The Belly flop competition (in which I did not compete) and so many other things. We made some really great memories that day. Don't forget to get a doorprize ticket, right Lindsey? That night we had Summer's birthday party. We had cheesecake and had a lot of laughs. Summers is 24. Give her a big ound of applause ya'll.
