a new day !!!

Good Morning everyone!!!!  Today is a slow morning for me, although most of my mornings are! Today I have alot to do. Clean up chores for everyone, then some learning for the kids, plant the blueberries, & get some bunny food & liter. My girls are doing so well on their learning. My oldest is way ahead in her reading! She's in the 1st grade area. The blueberries I have looked up info for planting & I'm going to get peat moss & organic soil & throw in some cottenseed meal.I'm planting in containers. We have dirt from the garden but I went out yesterday & found that every cat in the neighborhood is using it as their toilet, so I'm a little grossed out. I had it covered but that sure didn't work! Anyone know of a way to keep cats out of the garden? We've been struggling with them ever since we moved here. We have two bunnies. A black male that was given to us because no one wanted him. He is such a sweetie. We don't know what kind he is though,he's very small. He was suppose to be a she ,thats what I was told, & was not able to check because he was to scared to be picked up. So I found another female that in my eyes needed to be rescued ,shes a satin & now weighs 10 pnds,& well let me put it this way we found out the hard way when we let them meet each other that he really was a he!! So one day I would like to get him fixed so they can play together. Well I need to go do my stuff. bye

Oh, that IS gross about cats using your garden for a toilet. I have heard that if you lay branches from pricker bushes in your garden it'll keep them out. Anything with thorns would do. Holly
