Blessings...

While Dh has been extremely tired, we are both rejoicing!  Dh has been getting quite a bit of overtime as of late.  It always amazes me that God will bless us WHEN we need it, not before, not too late, but JUST IN TIME! 

This is the season for us to hunker-down, so to speak.  All the yearly payments come due and we literally are on bare bones through the winter.  In past years, Dh worked a second job doing construction which always helped with these extra bills.  The last two years, he has not worked that job and winters have been tough. 

We've been trying to sell some sheep.  We did take some rams to the sale barn and did sell them, just in time to pay a bill!  Now, with home insurance and the LP bill on the forefront, Dh has been called for overtime once again.   This isn't just a small run of overtime.  I mean when the extra bills are $675 and $800 and $900... you need alot of overtime to cover those... and God has blessed! 

Dh hasn't exactly been thrilled about being called.  He has worked alot of days and nights and he noted that it has been 18 days since he was allowed to sleep in and get a full nights sleep.  But he is thankful for the overtime that came just when we needed it.   It is nice to know that at the next pay period, the bills will get paid and while there won't be much extra... the bills won't be paid late. 

Farmer's market sales have been dropping off little by little.  But we are getting an end of the season bump in sales.  This has been helpful for me to get groceries when there hasn't been any extra in the regular budget to draw from.

I feel your pain! I could have written most of your post. Big bills, low funds and lots of overtime for dh. Hang it there!
