Tea, Crumpets, and Chocolate Chip Cookies

A movie I adore~

So there is this movie that I really love, and it is called Pride and Prejudice.  I first saw the movie when it was given to me at Easter and I must have watched it 5 times in a row!  First of all I love the time period and I wish I could have lived back then, and second of all, it is just good!  To many people it is probably just mind boggling that people used to act like that, but it was nice and they didn't have the problems we have today.  Of course now we have technology, but what the harm in writing a letter instead of an email?  Or instead of a phone call?  Yes it may have taken longer, but that taught people to plan ahead.  Now I am not saying that I don't like the technology we have today; in fact I use it all the time!  But what would people do if we reverted back to that day and age?  Many people would not know what to do, that's for sure! 

So if anyone knows of any other great movies from that time period, let me know!

I LOVE Pride and Prejudice!!

If you love that movie, you'll also love Sense and Sensibility (and oh man is Alan Rickman a hottie in that one!)...also Emma, that is a very good one too!!

A few more my girls enjoy are the American Girl movies "Felicity" and also "Samantha".

But you MUST see Sense and Sensibility and Emma, they are dreeeamy!!!!

Love Pride and Prejudice. It's my favorite movie too. And like was said in another comment Emma and Sense and Sensiblity are also very good. I've watched that movie tones of times and my youngest son loves the music which is a bonus.
There is a new movie coming out called Becoming Jane, it's about Jane Austins life. Not sure what it's going to be rated knowing hollywood who knows but thought I'd share. At least I think that's what it's called lol it's early.
