TELL YOUR FRIENDS!

I'm starting something new in hopes that I will be able to quit my current job and stay home full time.

I'm starting my own Mary Kay business.

I'm really excited about having the opportunity to start this now and hopefully be able to stay home full time by the time our new little one arrives in January.

However......

I need your help. I'm reaching out to all of you who care about your skin. (That's all of us) Help me get my business started by visiting my new website at www.marykay.com/cmhoger . Tell all of your friends, too. I'm wanting to build up my clientel now so that things will run more smoothly once the baby arrives.

I hope that you will take the time to look at our new products... we even have a new line for men. Perfect for your husbands!

God bless,
Carrie

Great News!

Hello everyone! It has been a while since I've taken the time to write anything down on here. Well, I now have some great news to share with all of you.

I'M PREGNANT!!!!

We found out a little over a month ago. I'm due January 9, 2008. We are so excited. This will by my first, but my husband's second child. I'm hoping for a boy, he's hoping for a girl. Either way, we'll be so thrilled once our little bundle of joy arrives.

God bless!

Areas of life showing lack of attention....

Well, it's been a while since I've posted on here. My new job as the legal assistant is taking up quite a bit of my time.... too much, if you ask me. Certain areas in my life have started to show my lack of attention... my blog being one of them... my weight loss being another. So, I'm starting afresh.... Hopefully, I will be able to stay on track. Pray for me.

I hope that everyone's Christmas was a memorable one. My husband and I spent our first Christmas here in Southern Illinois.... originally planning on going to Kansas to be with his family, but with work we were not able to take off any extra days to make the trip. So, with those changes, we planned on having our first Christmas as a married couple here by ourselves. Then my mother and my sister decided that we just couldn't be alone on Christmas. They were here for Christmas morning. It was a great time. We couldn't have asked for anything better.

I'm looking for a Nanny position here in Southern Illinois, so keep me in your prayers. I have one possibility.... but we'll have to see how that goes. I don't know much about the position yet, but will find out more soon. I'll keep you posted.

Until then.... have a blessed New Years!

God bless,

Carrie

Answer to Prayer

Posted in Prayer Requests

Ladies!

I have wonderful news. After two weeks of looking for another job, the Lord has blessed me with a full-time job with better pay. I was called yesterday to come in for an interview at a lawyer's office that I had sent my resume to. They are in need of a second secretary to help out their busy office. I had the interview, and they called back early this morning to inform me that they are offering me the position. PRAISE THE LORD!!! He answers prayer! Almost never in my timing, but always in His. I start September 5th. Please keep me in your prayers as I start in a new environment, with new people.

Thanks again to all of you who have prayed for me over the past couple of weeks.

God bless,

Carrie, wife to Kyle
