My Ramblings

Today

This past week my Husband has been on a tour in South Carolina for his music.  He said he had a great time, and I think that was just enough for him to try to do it full time.  I'm excited for him.  We're not sure logistics of how that will play out, but the Lord is sovereign, and knows what's what.  In the mean time, I was home with the little man.  We stayed a good bit with my dad, some with my sister and mom, and friends.  I'm so glad dh's home!  He said ds has grown so much since he's been gone.  I believe it from how heavy he's getting!  Tonight I was planning on turnip greens, baked chicken breasts, rice and gravy and biscuits (or cornbread, which ever dh wanted) for dinner, but I just got an invitation from some dear friends of ours for dinner, so i guess I'll put that stuff away for tomorrow.  The greens are cooked, so I guess I may bring them over.  I'm not sure.  I'll see if they eat greens first, I guess.  Last night we went to some friends' house for a 24 party.  We meet often.  It was fun.  This time, we each decided to bring our favorite cereal so that we can all mix and match.  I ate Fruity Pebbles!!  Mmmmm!!!

Today's been a bit slow at work.  Ds slept most of the night last night.  Praise the Lord!!!  We were very excited!  He did wake to eat once, but slept right after. 
I know this show is so ridiculous, but I'm excited about American Idol tonight.  I look forward to hearing some of those girls sing.  Get it Lakisha!!! I never vote, though.  It seems like a waste of money to me.

My dh loves Am Idol. He was very upset with who did and didn't get taken off the show. lol. He threatened to stop watching it, we'll see tho.
I have a guestion for you about you mil. How is she doing, she hasn't been on here in a very long while. Tell her that I am looking forward to hearing from her soon on her blog.

American idol / x-factor

The Simon Cowell music show here is called X-Factor and is similar to American Idol which we get on a Saturday morning here, I sometimes listen to it when I'm preparing the Sunday dinner.
Let your mother-in-law know that I miss her blog, she was one of the first to appeal to me when I first joined and her writings still appeal. I keep hoping that one of these days I'll log on and she'll be back giving great tips.
