My Ramblings

This morning has been bittersweet!  For me, it's been wonderful!  I woke up at 6 to the alarm, but since it was still dark, I reset it for another 30 min.  However, in the meantime, my dh went out and got breakfast for us without me knowing!  We had breakfast in bed! I was able to use my new camera my dad gave me this morning, b/c last night we charged it on the stand all night.  I may see if I can scan some pictures if we're slow today at work to post.  So far I've taken pictures of my dad, of my cats, and of our new house (the "before" pictures!). 

But, there's been sad news, too.  I read in the paper this morning that a friend of mine's step-father died last evening.  He was on his balcony yesterday morning when the banister gave out and he fell.  He was rushed to the hospital, but he died yesterday evening.  Please pray for the family.  I believe he had his own children, though I'm not sure how many (none were young), and has 3 step-children, and at least 1 grandchild.

I hope your day is not spoiled with reading about the accident. I'm sorry about that. It's terrible.
