Good cooking for my good looking hubbie

Thank you so much to all who prayed for Wesley, and please continue to do so!  He was hired today!!!   Praise God!

I was sitting in bed thinking last night on what my dm-i-l said at her house.  She said that she wished she could cook 3 square daily for her dh b/c he deserved it.  That got me thinking.  I know my dh deserves it, too.  And I know he would really love it if I cooked all his meals for him.  So why don't I do it?  He doesn't get up much earlier than I do.  He's not gone when I get up, actually, I wake him up usually.  We eat lunch together most days, and dinner everyday.  So it's not that I'm not around him.  And it's not that I don't have the time, either.  I have a full kitchen to use, so I have all the resources too.  I just haven't made it a priority.  And so, this morning, I got up and made eggs and biscuits.  Then we had chicken, green beans, rice and gravy or twice baked potatoes (a choice), and fruit for lunch.  I cooked the chicken overnight in the crock-pot, so it was effortless!   Then for dinner I cooked crawfish in a cream sauce to go over rice or noodles, but we decided to save that for lunches this week, and went to the Mexican restaurant, instead.  I hope I can keep it up!

cooking is one thing I do daily it's like second nature..(actually for some in the house 3 meals a day) I do enjoy doing it although at times I get really out done not knowing WHAT to cook..Cook now for baby will soon be here...LOL debbie
