Baby Movement!

As I type today I can feel the little joy moving about inside my belly.  (I know he's not really in my belly.)  I'm not sure why he's so mobile today, but he is a wiggle-worm! .  This morning we woke earlier than usual, which is a good thing, to get breakfast with friends.  We all enjoyed it.  We go to Natchez again this weekend.  It seems like we are there a lot, which is true, I guess.  However, we may be there a lot more.  We'll just have to see about that. 

Tuesday is my next doctor's appointment, and I am excited!  We get another sonagram.  I can't wait to see how our little joy is growing! 

I cleaned most of the house yesterday, so I am pleased that there is very little to do today.  That is a freeing feeling. 

About Father's day, I am considering looking at some prints that a local (quite famous, actually) watercolor artist has, and seeing what the prices are.  I know that he comes to Natchez, where my father lives, regularly to paint, so I may see if there is anything there that he'd like.  He always likes (as do I) a good piece of art.  I realize that a print is not near the same as an original; however, there is value in a numbered print of a collection produced by the original artist, especially when the giver cannot afford the originals. 

On a completely different note, there is a small calico kitty that comes around our home every so often that I am sure is a stray by her shyness towards people and the way she gobbled up the bits of chicken I threw out to her last night.  We have seen her several times, all at night, and I know that she is sweet.  I believe she wants to be pet, b/c she comes really close, then becomes afraid, and scoots back.  She came to our window last night, and rubbed on it when she saw we were next to it.  So, I placed chicken bits out again about an hour ago.  I am not home, so I don't know if she has eaten it or not, but I will be checking it throughout the day.  I have never seen her during daylight, so I don't know if she is around during the day.  I may have to wait until the evening.  She isn't a tiny kitten, but she is a small cat, still young enough to train, I believe.  I hope so...  Wesley seems to like her, too.  I just hope he continues to like her... He's not big on cats.

I loved feeling my babies moving when I was pregnant. The Pearls book can be brought on line or from their web site 'No Greater Joy'. It is a good book to read.
