Prayer Request, Please

Summer school started today.  I don't think it will be too bad.  It's an acrylic painting class, so it sounds fun.  I am officially registered for it.  I am not, however, registered for the Art History I class that I need to graduate in August.  Please pray that a teacher will take me on this summer as an independant study, b/c the school decided not to offer the class this summer (or last semester, and the fall semester I couldn't take it b/c of another class that was manditory to graduate at the same time).  This all needs to be settled by Thursday, as Thursday is the last day to add classes. 

Please also pray for Wesley and I as we are trying to determine the Lord's desire for us in where to live.  We currently like the location where we are, but the ministry position that we have been doing with the school ended with the school year.  The school has provided housing free for us this year, but we will now be responsible for making the payments, if we choose to remain in our home.  We enjoy it fine living there, but we are concerned that we will not be able to make the payments.  Interestingly enough, Wesley is being considered for a ministry position in our home-town, which could come with a small apartment.  Even if the apartment is too small, we may have other options of where we could live; much more affordable options than in the town we presently live.  Logically, it seems as if moving to our home-town would be the correct option.  Nevertheless, we continue to pray for God's will in the situation.  While we know the obvious benefits of living in a more affordable location, and livivng where the majority of our family lives (especially with a new baby coming!), we can't deny that we are growing so much more in our faith at the church we have been attending since July here, and we would be leaving Wesley's current new job, our friends, and the school.  I will (Lord willing!) be finished with my degree in August, but Wesley still has about 2 years left.  Regardless of where we live, Wesley would most likely have to withdraw from school this semester to work to support the baby and me, but it is still a harsh reality for us that it may be a little while before he is able to attend classes again.  There is a community college in the area where we could be moving, and he may be able to get a degree there.  We aren't totally sure, yet.  Anyway, I guess this is the long explanation of our desire for your prayers for our family.  Thank you! :o)

    In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. ²⁷And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.

    What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Hello! I just found your blog, because, um, you updated it. And I wanted to leave you a comment. So, here you go! :) I have a almost 3 month old son. So I relate a little bit!
